They can be sold in both countries and probaly will but when the guys told me about them i thought it would be something nice to offer the lads on PB as to me they are priced just right considering it hard times at the moment.  ;)

I have many friends and customers on this site so when i see something that may benefit those people then why not!!! P.S. Im not actually making anything on these birds just helping out.

For Any Chelsea fans there are a dozen Italian Birds including some darks and grizzles, these are from Carbanarra who enters lots of Races around the world and does well some have pedigrees, these are really smart birds and again are available £20-25 a pigeon.

Thats something to get the lads down the club chatting when they see them in your stock loft ;D

Hi Pigeonscout

The young bird type virus was contacted by one section right at the start and those birds were culled by order of the dutch government and they then ordered a  period of isolation and a test for the remaining birds.

The that start training were tested clear and fit and healthy. The birds now look out of this world.

Let's cut to the chase here. Never mind whether the birds are brilliant or a cull.

Most know, or at very least are aware, that a One Loft set up was closed down as mention in the BHW I believe where a fair few, 1/6th I believe didn't even go ... maybe be just one in 6. etc. because of AIR carrying viruses and others such as the Para and PHar etc. Therefore many were not in the races for a starter. Seems this lot now for sell. So they weren’t lost, or achieved any ratings, as they didn’t go. Is this the case?

For it seems that these are now being offered as being over it. Is this true Stu, and are these the very same birds.

If so, what are the guarantees that they are still carriers ... many must know that carriers don't show signs often etc. etc. but they pass on, or can still infect others.

As I am not interested in any way shape or form, I shalln't be bothering to comment on this subject again. But feel that if any truths here, that they should be sorted and genuine answers to sensible realistic questions should be answered.

Ok so there may be some lofts that are carriers etc. etc in our home town ... but that doesn't, in my book, mean I have to bring in outside problems if they exist. And there is certainly a lot of smoke in this regards, and many willy - nillying and pussy footing around this hearsay etc.

Am I concern? Well not from buying them myself... but am if someone is entering these birds youngsters in my club, Fed race crates. Hence I feel that this matter be laid to rest by some self right answers by Stu etc.

If I am wrong, no harm done, if right, then at least the cards are on the table.

So sooner mended lest said eh!

if these birds are from that loft the there health has to be brought into question as i know birds culled at lofts but others recovered and indeeed are picture but future health young is suspect as birds that recover are carriers for up to three years

Im sorry but i cant just sit here and not say anything but i pm stuart about these birds the other day because i had read about this illness that had caused confinement he did reply stating that the loft was the very same however the goverment had over reacted and that it was only a mild virus or something like that and that the loft had 6 sections and only 1 section affected now the problem i have with this is when the birds were first posted for sale this information should have been made available to the potential buyers to give them the chance to decide for themselves if they wanted to take the gamble (although i dont feel they should be allowed in the country jmo) Now i have been in touch with a well known Dutch fancier (i will not disclose his name as it is not my place to do this without his permission which i do not have) i asked about this illness his replie was Ecoli-Bacteria,Adeno Herpes Virus Paratyphus i cant tell you 100% whos right or wrong Do your homework before you buy

The pigeons that remained were tested, and tested clear, they were neither invected or were they carriers and that happened 6 months ago and since then the pigeons have been vigourously trained and raced and may i add under the watchfull eye of government vets they showed no sign of stress at all.

What happened to the Dutch Open has happened to many one loft races where you have a high number of young, the difference is the government became involved and quaritined all the birds not because it was some Super Specail Virus but because thats what they do with all sick livestock.

Tony W as i told you all the pigeons that remain have been tested, trained and raced. The 1st to 200th have already been sold without a problem, i have merely given the members of Pigeon Basics the chance to buy some of the 200th - 400th birds are they are sat in the Dutch Open Loft eating corn and  some of them are real beauties.

Roland, i will again state that the birds that i offered finished from 201st to 400th in the final race.

I get the feeling i will end today again wishing i never bothered. I dont know Pigeon Basics is a funny place!
