Large flock of Fieldfares just dropped among the hawthorn bushes behind the pigeon loft,first I've seen this year.Any in your areas ?

Not seen one yet but have Redwings again on hawthorn berries, plenty of berries this year.

Have seen them over last week . Along with waxwings& Today I heard what I thought was a football racket.Seen a mistle thrush.

Yes plenty here now and redwings good to see and hear, also plenty geese

Geese ( Pinks ) have been going over for a couple of week or so Dunc,bit late for stubble round here,most have replanted and grown a fer inch.

Winter visiting Whooper Swans have been in Ayrshire for about 2 weeks now. I regularly see a flock of about 20. This week they were accompanied by several grey geese.
