I think you will find that rule was scrapped danny it was rule 22 in the old ets clock rules rule book 2005 it wasn't in rule book 2014 or this years one 2016 also lots of lads on plots take their systems home with them after a race incase they get nicked
yes its a racing pigeon , looks to be a grizzle hen best way I know to catch it would be to get a cardboard box turn it upside down prop it up with a stick and put broth mix under the box tie string round the stick then holding the other end of the string when the bird goes to feed pull the string thus capturing the bird under the box
shu rule book states (2016 version) 1,ets must be fitted within the loft 2, ets can only record the time after a pigeon has entered the loft nothing about a bird being confined after clocking so yours is fine john
they are good £30 upto 6 birds got a stray picked up in Newcastle and delivered to Aberdeen for £30 got some delivered last year at 02.30 on a Saturday morning lol
lol your saying they are great , and ive not heard a good word said about them from fanciers in this area could be something to do with the £70 to £100 folk are getting quoted for delivery
may have had an encounter with percy and lost his confidence or may be carrying an internal injury had both confidence will return , the injury (who knows )
that's my ones near out the way just 1 or 2 from selected pairs to add the stock are going down again for birds going out to friends, breeder buyers etc etc this year with such a good hatch my racers will be free of y/bs weeks before the 1st race :drinking-coffee-200:
sometime a they can lay 1 small one and a normal one see what the next egg looks like ive seen the small egg hatch out ok but mostly they don't up to you if you keep it or not but most fanciers would discard it
lots of reasons why people are not voted in andy eg by letting in a known trouble maker by letting in someone who is always late to pay their dues someone who stands and watches while others do the work at race marking someone whos birds were not well kept and would be put in baskets next to yours the list is endless would you let in someone , if it was going to cost you existing members leaving if they got in remember in some clubs the members have built up their clubs to a healthy state they don't want anyone in who could destroy that remember not everyone gets along and these reasons have got nothing to do with how good a person flys their birds
