  1. If you inject in the neck and hit a nerve ,they will die. A new pracice is to do it in the loose skin between the leg and body, if you do it wrong there ,they just limp for a day or two I do the leg way as I can do it faster and safer

  9. There good up to about 35 to 40 miles, then it seems the fields draw them back to there old ways. and there is a better chance of bringing sickness into the loft with commies than good health stock.

    IN-LOFT BATH

I also have an out side cover over the landing board that I just place a pan of water for the bath. here is what it looks like. If I can find a shot of them in the bath I will post it in a bit.
  20. I have almost a kit of 20, mixed Berms and Bellnecks
  21. 18 hours of light starting in January and running to June 1st,then just use natural light. the Light bulb needs to be on that long, don't just think the light from the sun is enough to save on electric. . I liked to have mine see the natural sunrise so my bulbs came on about 1/2 hr after sunrise and went out 18 hrs later letting the birds have dark in the loft till sunrise. By June 1st you should be done. just loft fly till the 5th flight has dropped then slow and easy road work till June 1st. That gives you 4 weeks to push them till July 1st race. Just what I do,others may not agree, but works for me
  22. I'm getting mine a New BMW
  23. As Ybs I think they should see the sun before they are tossed. As Yearlings I'm not as fussy as they have more knolege and have seen cloudy days. If it is going to be a bad no sun day I just let them loft fly and get used to the bad weather
