  1. I dont confuse anything, you cant have super fitness UNLESS you have super health, you wont have super health putting your birds in baskets with unhealthy birds, disease spreads no matter what. Are you telling me by letting your birds build up immunity will stop them catching something from a unhealthy bird in the basket.
  2. You wouldnt no they were ill untill they have gone. snowy i would tell you that if you were joining my club, so you dont beat me
  3. Snowy find the best flyer in your area get to know them well and ask them if they treat,if they so no i will be very suprised
  4. Medication serves another purpose. Out of the race season, exposure of loft members to birds from other lofts is minimal, while once racing starts there is sudden and immediate high exposure to many birds from many different lofts. In this way, birds become exposed to different strains of disease-causing organisms, in particular strains of wet canker and respiratory infection. Because these strains may not be resident in their own loft, they cannot possibly have developed an immunity to them. For this reason, disease can flare ups, even in well-managed lofts, with resultant sudden loss of form and variable losses. Medication is used to minimize the impact of this exposure. I didnt write that but found it very intresting for this topic.
  5. Ray thats is one of mine on my aviator I WISH 40 x 1st that bird has,the boss
  6. Bruno your forgetting one thing, your birds might be healthy and in good condition, your loft may be 100% in the hygiene department, BUT when you place them in the baskets with other birds that are not healthy, then what happens, your birds will fail big time, theres no way they can be super resistant towards these diseases.Im only a novice myself but know to win races birds need to be super healthy.Having a strict hygeine regime is not enough.I have never misused any medication, only fix something that needs fixing just my opinion mate
  7. I must be weird too,as i thought about using olbas oil also. so a drop on each pen,how often
  8. Yes snowy but you cant see inside of them. Bruno didnt you say before that you dont win much, not being funny here but maybe you should treat them and see the differance.

Thanks very much for the kind coments people,Its no hassle at all for me to give theses birds away to have a chance to prove themselfs in life.I wanted my roundabout race team to rear a round of youngsters but would have had too many if i kept them for myself due to new stock i have brought in.I could have gave them away three times over with the response i got.Hopefully something will come out of them for the people getting the birds..
