Thanks for the great response to my question. I can limit access by pets to area's i am poisoning but i am panicked by secondary poisoning..I would never live with myself if i poisoned my dogs I will come by beginning next week Ian as i'm of to sunny fife with my wife and caravan for a few days..oh' and a few cockers!! DAVDI..
I experienced the same thing with cocks from louella that were very well bred...listless and looked a little lacking vitality...even moulting at odd times. In 2 words i would say Shagged useless!! These birds are bulled night and day in never ending artificial light.Stands to reason the body clock is knocked to pieces. It has taken some of my stock doos that i purchased from louella many ,many months to hit reality. Just an opinion but i think a valid one! DAVID

Had a bird taken 2 seasons ago that tried to escape into a tight fir wood that you couldn't throw a stick through. The wood was pitch black inside the trees. The goss'managed to somehow get into the tree canopy and chased it through the branches like roadrunner.(he got the pigeon) Never seen anything like this before or since. The agility of these big winged critters needs to be seen to be believed.. Gosshawks pass my loft at intervals throughout the year but i have to be honest and say the most damage i receive is from sparrowhawks. DAVID
Hi Mate. Your post has had 112 views and not a soul knows how to fly roundabout! I would help with advice but i'm like yourself ...just learning. You can play the word game though. DAVID
