if she was darkness I would have her go all the way, the majority of young birds that fly out there skins generally fail as yearlings for some strange reason... but if a natural YB then the moult would be my deciding factor strike while the iron is hot, Kevin Murphy and 'Rocket' was a prime example when this pigeon smashed every yearling in Scotland that year, then went onto win a silver award.

would be fanciers be good enough to post up the where abouts of 'percy' sites in Fife and around the Forth areas please? as young bird training will be increasing over these coming weeks, we have to give our youngsters every fighting chance and hopefully dodging nearby sites should help?? already some horror stories being heard of fanciers getting wiped out from very short distances, its a worry!

BIRDAGE?

looks like the SNFC race from Maidstone this weekend has been a great success birdgae wise, with an estimated birdage in excess of 5000 pigeons... a special thanks must surely go out to all the members involved in running the Dundee Marking Station and a further thanks to the members of the DOUGLAS RPC for the use of there clubrooms and facilities they opened there clubrooms early at 1.00pm to help accomodate the massive entry... some lofts were sending in excess of 30 pigeons!, and didnt get finished until 4.45pm markling the pigeons, so well done lads! without these hard working fanciers we wouldnt have doorstep SNFC marking and would have to travel to either kirkcaldy or aberdeen adding at least 3 hours to your trip, so cmon lads lets applaud them for there efforts
