In sport all medal winners are tested for drugs and a percentage of all participants are randomly tested for drugs, you just get a tap on the shoulder and you have to provide a specimen, once you are tapped you are not allowed to leave the officials sight. Regarding humans knowing better than pigeons what a load of crap the high majority of fanciers and sport coaches are overweight and out of shape they achieve their goals through their athletes and some will go too any lengths to achieve their goals. Body builders will never win races and marathon runners will trucks but all types of performers have been caught using or abusing them and cheats are in every sport and if you overdose on anything you can cause damage :-/ Why would it be any different for some in pigeon racing :-/

Well done if everyone got six then it would be a great start, we have to look way beyond the site and the UK as I am sure our European fanciers are having the same problem and not just pigeons and song birds, I know it is a huge problem on cage and aviary and free range poultry keepers

DEFRA and the RSPB are a law unto themselves, we have protected sea eagles that are attacking lambs and as the numbers are not confirmed unless their is a scientific study carried out it will continue, http://news.scotsman.com/inverness/Angry-island-farmers-seek-compensation.6126343.jp we have protected giant ravens pecking out the eyes of sheep http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2008/03/29/farmer-blames-giant-ravens-as-lambs-are-massacred-86908-20366545/ again unless numbers are confirmed the RSPB are allowed to protect them and DEFRA do nothing about it so it won't be easy getting protection for pigeons and any other bird unless we open up any campaign to involve all pigeon fanciers and the broader public :-/

A lot of fanciers make money out of pigeons they may be classed as livestock. What about if you are a stud or a release business then your birds may be classed as livestock, what about if you sell ten ybs then it may be the same :-/

Aye, if you want a BT land line you have to get it installed by BT but you do not have to take their service. The only reason any company can sell a product at any price is they must have people willing to pay it. I used to sell sports equipment and I got up to 40% commission from the manufacturers. I could sell cheaper than the manufacturers just to get a contract from a sports centre I could cut the price by 20% which made me a bit of money but 20% cheaper than the manufacturers. Same with any business that is why you can buy a Sony tele etc from the likes of Currys cheaper than you can buy from Sony shop :-/
