This is a classic case why threads should not be locked or deleted and allow us to debate things, spin cycle could have left the site and we could have become enemies, instead we found common ground and maybe gained some respect for each other. I hope admin allows this approach to continue JMO

There is no doubt change is coming as it always has, long gone are the days of right and left wing politics they all are fighting for the centre ground that is why they all look the same. Proportional representation will bring diversity and sadly it will let some of the loonies in like the loony and BNP parties in JMO

The old site started having problems when Richard left or lost interest, personally I think the old site was better but this site is improving all the time. There are some great moderators on here and in my opinion some that do not do justice to the site, when I first joined in 2006 the same arguments were in force The site boasts of having over 10,000 members yet could not cope with just over 100 on line at the same time and endless problems with Pm's. I hope the problem I had with my PM's gets looked at and sorted or we may end up in the same boat

Your missing the point, I logged on to see an unread message from Ian McKay in my mail box, when I went in it was a message I already opened and replied to on the 4th of May so there must be a problem in the system with Pm's. Then I tried to pm Fifer about it and I could not send it so I posted it on the boards

I hope you reconsider, this site has thrived on discussions that are not pigeon related, if I have offended you personally then I apologize but not for my strong socialist and political beliefs and a wee bit tongue in cheek banter. I hardly think my comments to around 50 pigeon fanciers would change the course of the election. If you disagree with my views then debate them or agree to differ but don't leave because of it
