This has been out worst year for hawk attacks, they have almost cleared the dove cotes, at least with the racers you can keep them in the lofts to break the cycle rather than food on tap every day My brother was at Cupar in Fife annual show and he said there was a BOP stand and he was saying not to believe all that was said about hawks, my brother said I was losing pigeons to sparrow hawks and he said they are called Sparrow hawks because they on feed on small birds, my brother did not know enough to argue with him
