He does dropping samples by post but not swabs as he believes you do not get a true reading when they have been in the post for a couple of days. Would recommend him to anyone, his charges were, droppings £2 per sample and if you take the birds and he does a swab £3 per bird. Paul

Very few local clubs have social sides anymore, last year we put a buffet on for free, 7 turned up and 2 of these weren't even pigeon men, most give their prizes out at AGM. I think this is part of the friendship that has left the sport which is a shame really, to me this is what pigeons is about. Paul

My roof is all mesh but then we have covered half of it with Norplex so as not to take all the light away but if there is a cat on top they can go under out of the way until you shift the cat. Paul

Its much better to keep them prisoner than to let the hawks or cats get them and then find out they are that golden pair everyone is looking for. Paul

The bird is his, it is registered to him and so he should claim it or contact RPRA and try to sort it out. Paul

people should not feed birds as all they are doing is making a dinner table for the hawks, they know where birds eat and sooner or later they will be there, and before you know it your birds will also be on their menu. Paul

Try eradibait, I bought some and if your birds happen to get at it then it doesn't harm them there is something in the rats make up that starts it off and all their organs pack up, I moved on my allotment and it was overgrown hadn't been used for years there were rats everywhere tried the blue blocks took them for fun, in fact one day I dropped one and a rat run from under the shed and took it down a hole so I ordered this stuff and as it said it took them a few days to start taking it but very soon they stopped taking it altogether, I have it down all the time and now and again some goes but have not seen a rat for ages.
