As quoted in previous post it is best to keep to natural products like vinegar etc.but it is also handy to know what you may be up against. If you google Pantex it will give a brief health schedule for young pigeons that may be of some help.atb.
Tend to agree with above,I like to remove the old cocks at the end of the season and close their boxes, then put the new cocks in to select the empty boxes, after a couple of weeks the old cocks are returned and there is no fighting.
Yes could be right and as you said you got them in when you got back from training they may have been picking around the garden. I'm like kirky, feed later after trapping with seed.
Good morning Sapper, been up early all birds done, took youngsters up the road all back.I'll have to have a kip in the garden or I'll be asleep when the game comes on.
Sorry Roland, don't seem to be able to reply by e-mail,but the answer is no.In the mid sixties I was still living in Liverpool but did follow amateur boxing.atb.
Just two more races to go for me then the old bird races are over, with just competing in sprint races we have had 17 races so far(midweek included)and some of the widow hens are now showing to each other so I will need to give them a couple of 40 milers to keep them from being frisky. Most of the distance men will just be getting to the really good races so best of luck and hope the weather stays fine for you.
Still a good book for anyone trying widowhood,I was given mine by Dave Allen as a raffle prize when he was on a quiz panel up here years ago.Would recommend it to anyone.
