With racing over and the sexes separated,will go through the birds and decide what is staying,started yesterday with four young birds not making the grade.The worst part of the sport for me getting down to numbers required but it has to be done.

Only use Matrix,I mix it 50/50 with redband and use after a race old and young,it appears to bring the birds droppings back to normal quickly,it probably does not need the redband as there is already conditioning seed in it,also I use a little on trapping widow cocks and hens.

Lovely morning here but only 10 degrees with a very light north wind.

Used it yesterday,it has no effect performance wise on the birds.

Stripped the eggs from old birds Sunday,will separate later today also got some latebreds to take to a mate in Liverpool.

Just a few years back Burtonwood H.S. had it's membership closed at 30 members with a waiting list to get in. Tonight 8 members sent 141 birds,with still 4 fed races to go.
