Let's reserve judgment on all previous posts till all facts are known. Minds are very bad at accepting incomplete or inconsistent stories and when faced with information that contradicts what you think you know, our subconscious goes right to work filling in the blanks or explaining it away to make you feel comfortable. To avoid hypocrisy, you have to acknowledge cognitive dissonance and teach your conscious mind to overcome your subconscious. You have to train the part of you that thinks rationally to start winning the fight against the part of you that thinks irrationally.Hopefully when phase 2 kicks in we can all get back to some normality. Learning to listen can be hard for some and they take Dogmatic views which does nothing for democracy.

As previously posted we all have to follow the rules "from a level of personal and professional integrity".Its not the SHU it’s the Government The important thing is we stick to the rules to get us through into the next critical 2nd phase and we follow the rules to the best of our abilities. Why put our elders at risk for a !!is it not safer to train them yourself them jump them .Its nothing to do with furlough or grants if it was ,we would be racing .If we get a 2nd Spike it will be devastating and I believe for the economy the 2nd phase will be lifted within 2 weeks.I am as keen as everyone for racing to commence and it will but surely not to the detriment of our families. 16. Scotland's coronavirus guidelines could be enforced by new laws if "even a minority" continue to flout them, Nicola Sturgeon has said. The first minister relaxed restrictions north of the border on Friday, allowing more people to meet up while outdoors. She said the "vast majority" had complied with recommendations not to travel and to keep gatherings small. But Ms Sturgeon said it was clear that not everyone had complied, with police dispersing 797 gatherings on Saturday. And with car traffic trebling at some beauty spots, the first minister said she would not hesitate to put restrictions on group size and travel distance into law.

  19. GROUP TRAINING IN SCOTLAND UPDATE 1 Further to my statement yesterday about group training. It has been brought to my attention that Clubs and or Federations are organising what can only be described as unofficial races. The First Minister clearly stated that local travel only was permitted under phase 1, not unlimited travel. Any organisation doing otherwise do so at their own risk and they should check with their vehicle insurance company before commencing on such travel. The S.H.U. strongly advise that training be done locally. Gordon Turnbull, B.E.M. 21. It should be remembered that it is only short distances that we are allowed to travel. It does not allow federations to go to racepoints under the pretence of only training. End of story ,short distances and keep away from race point ,s and ensure you have permission to train them at whatever spot is picked .😷ðŸ‘
