thats an interesting point you put forward westy,saying that racing is like a lottery the more you send the more chance you have of winning.It is and it isnt really,in probability the mob flyers have more chance of winning but it only takes 1 to beat em.I remember 2 seasons ago when i sent 1 pigeon to a ripon amalgamation,while other members in my club were averaging twenty or so birds,i only sent the one cos we had a wipe out of at berwick were we put all our eggs in one basket.Althought i didnt win the club i ended up being second beaten by .6 of a decimal but everyone said that was the preformance of the year.I dont think its numbers i think its if the pigeons are right on the day they will beat how many pigeons your other memebers send,but its jus getting them right
