pigeon eggs should hatch in 18 days after the 2nd egg is laid as this is when the incubation starts.If you swap 10 day old eggs with 2 day old eggs the youngsters are likely to die! The Basic rule for swapping is a day imbetween so eggs 10 days can be swapped with 9 days ect.

i used to use dandelion tea and nettle tea,the nettle tea was used constantly 2 weeks before racing to premote down fall

good idea to try this as a build up of old scales builds up,if you can do this slightly try to fit a small piece of string and pull to and fro and alot of dead skin and scales will come of and loosen the ring slightly.I tend to lift ring up and clean scales of every bird when basketing

yes i understand that but i dont know still feel abit iffy,as i normally get feral pigeons in my garden,and the slight movement even by me scares this feral into the air and this triggers a reaction in my pigeons who are of in the air.Thats all and my pigeons are very tame for those that know me and are used to irregular movements as when there babies i have baloons in the sheds??

these hens could be barron try putting a dummy egg there they may take to it and if they do add another 1 two days later. What system do you fly? As Barron hens can be a god send in some cases?

it aldepends i dont think they have a set time,as it takes alot of time and energy for the babies to do this i feel at set times you can hear the egg constantly ticking then they take a brake and are back at it again so dont think there is any set time like a pregnant mother if there ready theyll come

thats the first thing i spotted when went round to a friends of mine who was knocking some up,first thing i said thats all that is is garlic,so instead of buying strike i bought cloves of garlic and saved a good few bob ;D

what about g10 pellets stuart whats your opinion on these as they have gemthpax inside them. Also isit tru that you have to ring young birds much quicker using these products as the rate they grow is unbelieveable

i understand were you are coming from! But i do not think you understand were i am coming from with the untested comment! If i go to a yb auction £45 is the maxium i would go up for a young bird as one its untested, and you could easily let it out if you lose it! Thats the reason that i said £45 is steep for an opening bid, as many people do not like to go over around that price range for those reasons!

have to agree they do look nice,but for £45 quid for young birds that are untested for opening bid i cant blame them,especially where there quiet far away from the tree
