dont ya think £45 is a bit of a hefty starting bid andrew?? These are babies untested and the apple has fallen quiet far from the tree in these cases! Most yb auctions starting bid is 20-25

its difficult debbie a pigeon always will have a love of its original home where it was born its natural instinct.Onless you can brake the pigeons out they will tend not to stay, like i said to you the birds most probably once get fit will be off and out! Why dont you ask your pigeon flyer friend to breed you a couple of younsters im sure they will not decline!
-
its a load of rubbish to many people think pure breds are the best what a load of rubbish no family is of pure breds!forget the bs of strains and family aslong as you got good pigeons!

Rick best thing to do get the vet to have a look as everyone is giving you what the think it could be and it could be tempted with trying them all to no success which will waste alot of money and pigeons in the long wrong get the professional advice and get it sorted mate, just dont want you going down the line as i did buying this product and that and it wasnt if you know what i mean hope this helps

What did it do sod all if in dowt get the test done its the only way to be sure, and also forgot to mention is what i done! but once they had it i personally dont think there any good and i think they will be carriers, dont quote me on my last statment about carriers but is what i believe

the reason why i believe i got it was because my friend was starting back up in the sport and asked if he could house the pigeons he bought at my house till he put up a loft which i agreed to as we were racing partners a few years back, he brang in the bevverdam birds to be housed with my birds till he got a loft all looked full of health but i beleive it is these and overcrowding that caused the problem.Last year i found out another guy who bought birds from the same beverdam sale as my friend culled them all as they all had paratyphoid ! It was a hard and expensive lesson to learn and many good winners brang a tear to my eye! That was just in the stock. It only affected one section of the race team which was strange and this wiped out 3 federation and 7 club winners.Since then havent topped the federation for last 3 years and always used to top it at least once! It ruined my team and caused me to basically start back from scratch! Even those that had it and recovered after the jab where no good, so had to be removed. Its taken me three years to slowly build up a good team yet again, this year first year with what id say with a full team of pigeons. I jab my birds every year the treatment starts in novemeber with a 10day course of treatement and were jabbed on the 11thday! This year this was done and only two showed signs of a reaction these were my best racers last season. They may show signs of a reaction but as your birds have it they will not react the way birds that have it in a small dose as they sulking, and not eating for 2 days but the third day they are fine. This is due to i believe they have a bit of paratyphoid inside there system and the vaccine makes them have a paratyphoid overdose then the 3rd day its completely gone. All birds also have to be given a booster vaccination which can be anything from 21 days to 6 months! Hope this helps abit and shows the damage it had caused!
