anyone tried breeding decemeber 10th, watched a video called system X with spence and nichols and was saying bred that time of year the hold all there flights?
  6. and people complain about amtraks prices, lol
  7. the grit should be kept as far away from the drinker as possible, and like i said previously you should only give pigeons a little at a time, a pigeon only requires a pinch with like shadow said with the feed. Grit can become dirty, from dust and even the slightest of moisture can be kept hiden within the grit in the driest of lofts. If fanciers leave grit in 24/7, it becomes dirty, and will hold some moisture, that may not be visable to the eye, and pigeons will refuse to eat dirty grit, if you do this procedure change your grit regularly every 48 hours, prevents the grit from becoming dirty and holding mositure. The bath situation has nothing to do with grit, so cannot see the relevence this has to making the grit to with hold moisture ?

  14. 11.40 Wetherby southerly wind
  15. near wanstead clear blue skies, warm sun, and a light south wind
  16. lovely day for it aswell, lovely clear blue skies, but its warm here already
  17. lol mate its not because of the drinker, its due to the moisture the drinker gives of via condensation,
  18. wouldnt keep near the drinker, grit must be kept dry, and mustnt soak up any moisture. Pigeons will also refuse to eat the grit when it gets dusty so change regular, so dnt put alot down at a time.
  19. a friend of mine loft got broken into by a fox, he called it red fox lofts, the lofts were red after the fox had been in there

    Darkness

about 4 weeks before the racing starts as the birds seem to reach form about after 6 weeks of begin off the dark. I normally take mine of around the 21st of june
  21. to me the birds seemed to have been way to flighty if this is the case, and should have been let out at a much younger age, Young birds can be a pain in the *expletive removed* if they are over fed, and will sit there and sit there, untill they finally get hungry. Have to watch out cos young birds are like sheep what one does the others will follow. If you have any pigeons in the loft that have ever been soaped or cut down place this on the floor near your loft the young birds may soon follow and just a matter of walking them into the loft. Wish you the best of luck!
