    soya beans

some people put peas and beans in normal water, and feed them when they start to germinate otherwise known as producing a little shoot. Also some poeple leave there beans and peas two years before feeding as there lead to believe to contain alot of acid untill they mature!

    soya beans

im guessing in the interest of long distance racing,I personally wouldnt but everyone is different, i just dont think i would have the patience to cook the soya beans. The sport to me is a hobby and something that should be done in leisure and enjoyment, so personally couldnt see myself cooking the soya beans then feeding, id prefere to stick to my usual widowhood mix, with some peanuts, and plenty of sunflower seeds.

  14. i hate broken legs get them every year, its funny though ive only every had one that turned out to be a good pigeon, the rest fell to the way side, i notice in flight birds whos legs have been broken after periods of time struggle to keep there legs up while flying, to me which i find is a weakness, however in these cases i rest them in a box, with a nest bowl inside, i put a good layer of saw dust, and place the bird in the bowl, and from this bowl everything is accessible water and food, without it having to get out. I also feed it high protein at this time to make the healing process quicker, but after about 8 days you will see it trying to put pressure on the legs for short periods of time!

  22. See okitsme, it will be hard to sort out the weak from the strong as the way it sounds the birds wont be competing the full programme, really your young bird combine or national would do this, but your only having 3 races it sounds like, so will be very hard and to sort out the week from the strong in your case would involve alot of jumping, and personally i dont know how many your intending to breed, i think could end up in heartbrake if not done properly. What id personally do i would train the birds right up and give the birds all the comeback races upto 216 miles in my federation case, so the would have first race 114 miles newark, then Wetherby which is 177, then Scotch Corner 216, if the birds came well from this distance i would retain them and keep them to build up an old bird team, the ones that didnt do so well would then go to the young bird combine to sort out the weak and the strong. I train my ybs in stages and everyone is different
