You are wrong Allan, Dundee was not in it from the start and the Combine meetings were held in Ally Sims House, i know this as i attended the meetings.

Don't think so but not sure. we used to use our transporters time about. Think Ally Sim was the first President. Going back to what was said at your agm, would not like to think that Aberdeen would make up a race programme with race points on the presumption that there MIGHT be room on a transporter for us.

Yes you are quite right as far as Aberdeen Fed were concerned i was at the last Grampian Combine meeting for Aberdeen along with Ian McKay and by that time Dundee had taken over the show. It was either their way or no way, and that was the end for us. Funny how organisations can start something and end up getting bombed out. ,

Unless things have changed from my time as Fed sec the North Fed do not want a Combine result.

Besides the cost what other way would it make sense Fred, in my opinion none.

I lost my faith in the SHU years ago after being dragged down the road for an appeal which was a farce. I am not going into details but now i only pay my fee to them because i have to in order to race my pigeons.

The secret of a good y/bird season these days no matter how you fly them or when you breed them is keeping them healthy. This seems to be becoming harder year after year.

Does not bother me one way or the other. Have seen no sign of advantage up this neck of the woods that having y/birds hatching in December race any better than birds put on darkness in March/April. But if they did i might give it a go. Until then i will save my few extra pounds on the corn bill.
