So are you saying that untrained pigeons that don't home from their first race do know the way home but something else has prevented them from doing so.

If nobody trained you would have a right disaster at the first race. Nothing for untrained birds to follow.

When i do the Sunnybank result i always do the first birds as they are clocked. But i also include every lofts first bird further down the result because they have sent birds to the race and deserve a mention. The result i put on PB is not the true CLUB result but it is all sorted out when the Fed result is published. Therefore i don't see a problem in Kenny posting results off his own back for the Mastrick Club with members first birds.

Well i think the 3rd Thornton is a printing error as well. Are there different kinds of printing errors?

That does not wash Ian because if you go by the official race programme we should have been at Thornton with y/birds on 5th July. Anyway i know it will be 3 Thorntons now so end of, but not for me. As i said in a previous post i have never looked at the race programme because i new what it was and had no need to.

It's either a misprint or the minutes of the Race Committee meeting were taken down wrongly. So my racing will now start a fortnight on Saturday because i don't like Thornton as a race point for y/birds and theirs no way i would put them there 3 weeks running. I think a lot more Fed members that compete in the y/bird racing will be dreading it. I will wait and see how much birds there are on the transporter this week and who sent them before deciding if i am paranoid or not.

Fred look at my post in February on the Aberdeen Federation board under race programme 2017. That is what was decided at the race committee meeting.

I had no need to look at the race programme as i new what it was. Scrap the race committee next year and let who ever is the secretary make it up as they go along. As what ever is on the race programme will over rule anything set down by the race committee anyway by the looks of it.

Who knows. Another shambles. Whats new. This could be my last year racing as i have had enough.

Who in their right mind would want to go to Thornton 3 times with Y/Birds, 2 is bad enough.

Well that must be a miss print by Gibby as i put the race programme on the PB Aberdeen Fed board in February and there is only 2 Thorntons.

Does it say 3 Thorntons on the race card. If so that is not what was decided at the race committee meeting.

No the feeling from the past ( a long time ago now) a good pigeon not turning up, so i hope it surprise you and is on the loft some morning when you go out to the birds.
