He's had it since it was passed to use by the SHU, so is that 6-7 years.

My mate took his base station to Blackpool and he had to give them £75 to replace battery in it, I think that includes postage back. So there must be a battery in the base station.

Might be wrong but did George Brownlie not bread the pigeon.

I should have got a bird yesterday (next day ) from SPDS but it did not arrive. I phoned Jean at the Aberdeen office who was very helpfull and that she new the bird had missed the Aberdeen conection and was in East Kilbride. Collected it at 6.30 this morning from the depot in Aberdeen, these things can happen as the bird had to come from Leeds.

Does that meen if they are only going to be used to mark pigeons ( as in SNFC ) you don't have to do this?

The welly boots I got are a bit big. Remember and wear the jumper.

Don't know where she stays,but would think the rings will go back to the SHU office at some point. I don't know when Linda will be back to work but spoke to Sam on the phone and he dropped the rings off at her house after the meeting on Sunday. I have still to get the Aberdeen rings and will get them picked up by SPDS when they are back in the office.

Linda Brooks was in hospital and as far as I know the rings that were not picked up at the meeting on Sunday are in her house.

Fernside Regal and the other Fernside pigeons were also got rid of by Masserella because there was questions of where they originated from.They were supposed to be Vanhees but were they.

Same here,been like that for a couple of hours.

Don't think he goes up ladders these days,he's a ground floor man now.

No damage to the lofts,but the guttering at the front of the house has come away. I'll get the ladder out for Wendy later on today.
