My method exactly, first time by circumstances, had 15 y/b as you say shot off in all directions by 2nd day had them all in the best bunch of birds I ever had, flew for hours, no training tosses only basket trained for drinkers, won y/b fed averages and finnished the season with 13 of them, and they were great o/birds

No they stay with us all year but are mostly coastal this time of the year, feeding on waders and gulls

Wouldn't alter the rings, RPRA rules 94b-96. birds must carry an unaltered ring

I think Bop's are having a good time, their food isn't buried under the snow

My worry would be are the birds sharp enough to escape after being shut-up for a spell

strange that all birds food is hidden under snow and theirs is more obvious on it, you'd think this would be a good time for them

Where have all my Bop's gone? Lost two birds to a fem. s-hawk early last year and that was the last attack here. '08 was a bad year Gos nested nearby, Percy was busy as usual, my birds seem to have percy sussed, not had a hit for a few years, I've got a 5x4ft. open door, top half of the tall barn door, they can trap at speed and in numbers. Was thinking that as so many people feed the wildlings perhaps the Bop's have moved into the towns
