  4. If you're breeding 100ybs. you must have 25/50 good breeding pairs or you're breeding rubbish and I don't think you could compete with the man who breeds 20/30yb's from good stock

  8. Sorry lads but it is a Vit. B deficiancy, the liver will make it up in a day or two but if you want a result in minutes the cube of bread with marmite will do the trick

    Yeh I did realise why you shut them in, mine are on open loft all year, hawk had 2 in a week early 09 and not lost one since but had two near misses this week thats why I say if mine had been shut up they would probably have been hits

    Thats the problem with shutting the birds up when you do let them out they're not as fit as the hawk
  11. Small cube of bread with marmite or bovril on open beak and push down the throat to swallow, stand back and be amazed, it only takes a short while, Vit. B deficiency
  12. It doesn't say in the rules but I would read it as if a bird enters a trap then it should be trapped, I think what you described was an entrance, the bob wires at the end being the trap, jusy saying incase you get a national winner ;D

  17. Spot on there as you say no mention of the pigeon but I suppose it could be argued that if a pigeon enters a "TRAP" it should be trapped

  25. When I moved here in 1986 I only had 1 griz. and it was a kirky, they must be tough cookies as I've got 40 birds and 6 of them are griz.
