I farm and would be intrigued to know why a farmer would be irked by a few Buzzards, I have them here all the time and are no problem to me whatsoever including the pigeons and on the subject of Eagle Qwl's versus Percy, there is no way the owl would have an impact on percy, completely different life styles, why would you think the Owl was hunting Percy, It's nice to dream.

Amy if you watch the cams at these nests you will see racing pigeon rings amongst the debris, these seem to be removed regularly. I have asked what happens to the rings and was told they are returned to the relevent union but I don't know of anyone that has received a ring back from a union.

It's not the provision of nesting platforms, this is mearly to site the cameras which hundreds enjoy watching . Its the high rise buildings that are the problem and they are here to stay.
