  17. Walter had another look,it seem's to fast for a buzzard,look again.
  18. Pity Walter was to good to be true.
  19. Did anyone see Scotland today and the footage of an Osprey chick being snatched from the nest, they said it was a buzzard but it looked more like a Sparrahawk, the film was to fast and you would think they would slow it down for all to see,you can probably get it on u-tube and you will get it on the i-player,would be interesting to see what other people think, the reason I ask for you opinion is that the RSPB said they would start culling the buzzards if this is what they are getting up to,if it turns out to be a Sparra lets see what stand they take then. John

  22. Hope someone can help,I have a friend who is an ex doo man that picked a doo up 2/3 weeks ago that was badly injured by a BOP,he tells me it was in a right state, anyway the bird has now recovered apart from a bald patch which will grow in and is now ready to go to it's rightful owner the the number on it is as follows, NEHU 2006 NW 2217 I asked if this was correct and he asure's me it is.As I said a cracking big blue doo. John
  23. There is also a good news report in the Guardian, don't know how to put the link up maybe someone on here could it's a good read. John
  24. Watched the 7.30 news this morning and on it the RSPB have stated that there has been a 91% decline in the Turtle Dove population, again they have blamed farmers for not enough set aside for small wild seed, can't see that being a problem because there is over 20 Million wood pigeons, maybe there size puts the majority of the hawks of attacking them, but the public hearing this will think wrongly that it is a farming problem and not a RSPB problem for allowing the hawk population to get out of control.
