    Just noticed today that the two birds we got home on sunday from sat race have both got feathers missing i new one of them had some wing feathers missing and took it that it was it that had some tail feathers out , one with wing feathers out and one with tail feathers out expletive remove

  11. first race new venture with Angus & dundee transport, Gourdon club home end THICK FOG ,Montrose club home end THICK FOG , Arbrouth foggy but breaking up Forfar clear ,dundee clear . what do they do ? LIB at 11.15 . i took the bus down the coast to Arbrouth to play darts for Angus Countys Team at 12 arriving into arbrouth at 1 pm it was thick fog all the way . F*****8 JOKE . if two to three club are shut out by fog WHY libb the birds . Aberdeen took there birds home
  12. Wiley i had the same this is what i did and it worked for me. If you have a spare section put him in it for a couple of days on his own ( remember to shut up his box ) then introduce the hen to him and see what happens .

  15. worst season ever for us started with 42 lost 12 first week 8 second week even half 4 in the first 20 of the fed 1000+ birds next week alnwick 1/14 f/k sick put 4 this week 2 home so far funny thing is we have had the best old bird season ever winning 11 out of the 12 races .getting rid of the stock birds me thinks
  16. Alot will depend on your race program for us our first race is 75 ml , sometimes ours will only get one 75 ml then into 90 we have jumped birds into 130 before like was said before if their good enough they will come home
  17. we have 1/4 the birds missing have flown well for us a 5 year old been 3 times to clermont i expect him to turn up yet and a 3 year old that got on the clermont result last year

  19. i m on hols in turkey watching this race unfold looking bye all the comments on hear there seems to be alot of birds missing .we cocked second day with vel of 523 my dad didn't go through with our ets clock just did our club result , would it of made the Nat result if so could the clock still be read ? he won't know how to kill the race in the ets clock so the time will still be there or is there a rule for getting clocks done
  20. i got it wrong we fly believe it or not 552 we are 25 miles south bye road from aberdeen think you'll find aberdeen are only flying 570

  24. This the time of year I dread the most when the young are learning to hunt with the parents I've seen it close hand last year ybirds coming home ripped open so badly injured having to put them down

A big well done to Davie Glen who we fly against in the angus fed .looks like we are flying against some of the best pigeon men in Scotland at the moment .not forgetting Macaully & Ferguson on another top performance in the national racing this year . Looks like forfar is the place to fly birds out of ,only makes us more determinate to get in the winners circle
