Changes. Only change this year is different set up in the widow loft,giving them daylight instead of shutting them in the dark. Goals . Try to compete in all the SNFC races but I doubt if i'll manage with a small team and all the obsticles that is in front off them, and improve on y/birds results ,never entered ybird nat hopfully this year

Still learning Dal been in the sport for 20+ years only started winning when my old man retired and I bought some decent birds in, wish I could have a bigger team but old man is getting on now. So we'll just have fly with what we have and hope the bops have all been killed with the bird flew

That's me just uploaded my ets clock with this years birds for the old bird season 22 allocated in the clock , I think I would class myself a small team flyer, we'll have 14 widow cocks with 9 off them yearlings, the rest will be roundabout hens and we prob have 30-40 ybirds .Won every old bird race 2016 in our club so must be doing something right .with a diploma out off Roye C34 111 OPEN to end the old bird season ,hopfully more this year

That's mine all paired up and surprisingly they've all settled in without any hitches ,even the older hens into new boxes, every other year there seems to be three or four pair that won't take, even hens getting scalped( only happened once). hope this is a good sign for the coming season . looking forward to it already , ATB for 2017

How many results does a bird need to get to qualify for an award ,how does it work ? I've a hen with two awards , open result award from Littlehampton last year and section ticket from Roye this year , how many more doe's she need ?

Yeah , they have been ranging ,there is four older ones that are dragging the younger ones away and was thinking off giving them a training toss ,7/8 miles just to see what happens

Have taken some latebreds this year ( never usually ) So anyway, getting my father to get them out over the winter, (they only get fed once a day ) There is 10 of them and they have been disappearing with some ferril doos away to the fields, coming back after about 2/3 hours in ones and twos full of whatever they are eating in the fields , is there anything I can do appart from feed them more? They get grit and natural pick blocks , never experienced this in all the years I've kept pigeons , Any advice welcome
