The Premier club(and I am probs speekin out of turn here) is an elitist club that serves no purpose to us Fed promoters! We have a big prob here with the east west situ that a lot of members can opt out of with their priveledged membership of this club. This is a destructive power within the solway fed that has been brought to the surface by an unusaual clubbing together by the clubs in the west! I have no probs with flyin east but worry about the fanciers that are allowed to fly with this club splittin the fed with lower birdage surely a certainty! I will surely be shot down by premier members lookin in on here but feel that WE must speak up now or face the conciquences? I should(as you will rightly point out)get up and say this at some AGM but never havin attended one in 30 odd years seems out of place!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no way that Hoddom could give basket space for the first two Walter as we already have a limit! But for the rest of the season then it is pos! How would you know how muchbasket space was availbale for Carlisle when it left Gretna? Would the Carlisle members be happy to have a limit? Would they be happy to turn birds away? I know that the figures on the transporter dont add up but members of eah club dont want to go on opposite side of transporter? Would the Carlisle lads want to search round the transporter for spaces? I like the idea of full transporters but central marking would be the only solution and WE know how hard that is!!!

Yes very true Walter, but the only transporter coming down thru gretna would be the midland fed and they race west opposed to our east?. We cant hitch a ride wae Lanarkshire for the first few weeks as they obviously have quite a few races until our race points meet(If they ever do). Dont suppose they would even want us there and the drag on our doos up the east might be a factor? Change must come and probably in our two clubs first and stickin heed in sans is no an option for us younger fanciers who will be left wae nowt but a transporter for next to no birds!!!!!! The nationals are split which is bad enuff but when feds start splittin doon the middle its the start of the end IMO.

NO sure walter as they pay their dues to the fed then they are members and therefore entitled to backet space whenever they choose tae send! I, like you, have no other way to race pigeons unless with the fed (the only way I would like it)but would hate to see a split in the fed with clubs that have access tae the premier?
