I am no against east coast racing and have won the fed many times from the east side but was a wee bit shocked as the SNFC went west and we went east even tho the meeting was arranged especially for the knowledge of where they wer going to be racin from? Ye Henrik there seems to have been an organised mass turnout from dumfries clubs to push the proposal thru. HO-HUM shall just get on wae it!

The fed had a meeting yesterday and have decided to cross over to the east coast for the coming season. Just wondered if the members thought this was the correct decision? Should members(like me)have made more effort to get to Locharbriggs to vote? Or is it the right decision?

Like that idea Rab but our club can only send 25 per member due to basket space on transporter but suppose it would still be quite close at 45p per bird at end o year!!!

Hoddom flying club bought a load in bulk before the price went up so will purchase from them but if not then would have had to think!!!!!

Not at all offended??? Had many strains of doos most of them P***!!!! Wot i was tryin tae point out is that that strain doesnt always have a barrier to wot distance is percieved by the popular opinion! The SVR has been generous to me from up to 500 mile but mostly use for upto 300mile. I have a channel team that are kirkpatrickXSVR mostly and score right out to 600+ with them. I also have won from Shap, 50 miles, with a Gilbertson pigeon bred for 600 mile stuff!!!!

People dont need to say that the van reet breed can score at 500 mile its fact! Ask STB on here! You are correct that you would not be lookin tae win short races with yer Jan ardens or Kirkpatricks but thats been done aswell! Might be better tae judge the doo on its merits rather than havin some pre concieved idea of their abilities????
