Racing pigeons must be vaccinated against PMV which is the variant strain. Your club sec should require a list of vaccinated birds and any not on the list should not be allowed to race.

I have tried them Andy, but perhaps I am not your best guide. I have noticed no difference, no matter the products I have tried. I think it comes down to the fancier's personal preference and makes little or no difference to the birds. First, good birds, second, good hygiene producing third, good health. The only products that are required are the ones that maintain good health because without that, the birds will do nothing, no matter how good they are. If you have the birds and the hygiene, then all you need is to maintain the health by protecting against what they pick up in the panniers. Hope I have this correct and await your PM outlining what you did last year.

The Feds going east might joint convoy and the Feds going west might joint convoy. I have no idea about where they are all going, but there could be room for negotiations.

The date was set some time ago, I believe. I knew about it early December. With regards to Ayrshire Fed, they may not even be racing in 2014, so why should this meeting wait for them? Who would have expected Ayrshire Federation to implode at the time this date was set? I expect there will be further meetings, so hopefully Ayrshire Fed will be back on track.

There is a meeting of the Fed Reps sometime in January.
