  13. The first race is Fraserburgh on 7th July. Birdage is £2 per pigeon. This is the first race in the Gold Cup competition. Birdage for the Gold Cup is 50p per pigeon with a maximum of 3 pigeons allowed to enter. Prize money of £25, £10 and £5 paid to the first three nominated pigeons. Thurso, the second Gold Cup race is on 20th July. Birdage is £2-50 per pigeon. Gold Cup entry costs £1 per pigeon with a maximum of 3 pigeons allowed to enter. Prize money of £25, £10 and £5 paid to the first three nominated pigeons. Birsay, the third Gold Cup race is on the same weekend as Thurso, expected to be on 21st July. Birdage is £3-50 per pigeon. Gold Cup entry is free with a maximum of 3 pigeons allowed to enter. Prize money of £25, £10 and £5 paid to the first three nominated pigeons. The loft with the best overall average for all three Gold Cup races will hold the Gold Cup for one year and win £120. Entry sheets from your marking station, Cumnock or Crosshouse.   16. I would think they would acclimatise fairly quickly. The heat would be a problem for all birds whether from that country or not.
