If the emergency bills become law, party politics are being dropped and all parties are working together, so it is a very small if, then the police and army could be used to enforce the government guidelines. I've never served in the forces, but know some who have, and it is my understanding they will follow orders and they will enforce the will of the government. Perhaps better if we just follow the current advice and stop overthinking the situation.

Had a letter in today from a private health care company, never heard of them before, intimating to screenings in Glasgow. Cost £130 or thereabouts. Might have been coincidence, but I doubt it.

Predominantly North West where I live, must be the hill and valleys round about. Gulf stream comes in from the south west, but even it has moved further North. Global warming seems to be changing a lot of weather aspects.
