  16. How else would you suggest allowing a good fanciers into a club where members are afraid of the competition? I grant you that there are undesirables out there, if that is the reason why an application is rejected I'm sure that would be looked into by the region/union and if can be proven they'd rubber stamp the clubs decision. I do feel though good fanciers are to easily tagged as an 'undesirable' as an excuse to not allow them into a club.
  17. How about all application are to be sent to the region/union, the region/union then send these to clubs where your address falls within their boundaries. The clubs take a vote and if they reject the application they must inform the region/union as to why. If the region/union feel the grounds are not valid they have the power to overturn the clubs decision.

  19. Vitamin C from lemons aids the absorption of the B vitamins. This is why its the choice of many who use them as a means to mix/stick brewers yeast onto the pigeon feed. IMO pigeons should be given plain drinking water as often as possible, additives if possible should be mixed on their feed.

  22. soak the seed/grain in a vacuum flask (with warm to hot water) overnight should do the trick.
  23. If it starts to lose to much weight soak some pellets in warm water and syringe the mush down its throat.
  24. I think a lot would be down to the size of the convoy. The bigger the birdage the harder it would be for them to pull out at the shorter distance races, giving them an extra few miles would help fragment the convoy. If I raced in a Fed with 3000+ pigeons I would like to see the first race at no less than 90 mile then a steady build up from there.
