    Are We Sharp!

    WHAT IF our organisations get in touch with the RSPB letting them know of our plight and requesting from them locations where there's no peregrines in say a 5 mile radius so we can find safe locations where we can liberate. If they dont play ball we can take it that they dont give a toss about our pigeons or that peregrines inhabit nigh on every square mile of the UK. Anything negative from them would give us a bit of ammo to throw back at them and their subscribers.

  6. The West Essex Fed were at Wetherby yesterday, libbed at 08:15. The West Essex race controller made contact with the Scottish Feds at Selby knowing there was a good few thousand there, he was told they'll not be going anywhere indicating a holdover was on the cards.     I think they dont give details of owner to protect them from stray catchers asking for silly money for the pigeons return. If you phone them up giving a loft number they'll pass the details onto you.

  17. As long as they're not going over at liberation it shouldn't be a problem, en-route they'll be at different heights. ps The Essex & Kent amal will be at Ripon with around 5000 pigeons.
