Should it be Paratyphoid eliminating those showing signs of it isn't a sure way of eradicating it from your lofts. The problem being pigeons can harbor Paratyphoid without ever showing any signs, these are carriers and can pass it on. I suggest you take professorial advice, a good place to start would be to contact http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/user/2567-david-vet/ I'm all for natural immunity but some diseases cant be left to run its course............. Paratyphoid is one of them. Hope you get it sorted.

My view is birdage should be kept to a minimum. Those that want to race for money can do so via the pools and/or side bets.

Prize money in club fluctuates every year, this all depends on total birds sent. We pay 50p per pigeon in club of which 32p per pigeon goes to the fed (West Essex). This year the fed looked at dropping the charges but with the price of diesel possibly going higher we decided to charge the same as last year. If we make a profit on the race account this year we'll refund clubs on a pro-rota basis.
