  3. Ayrshire Federation has delayed race marking for Dunbar by 24 hrs.
  4. Makes very little difference I had 44 telephone rings im 35 amiss over the yb race season , 3 phone calls. 2 seperate clubmates have had birds returned fron SHU stray centre bird with their life rings but that had been sold at sales clearly wingstamped with new owners details.
  5. Midweek clubs do this more often than not
  6. Carrick & District bird SECY John Cannon 01655882789
  7. The very fact that this venture is being discussed might make other organisations buck up their own ideas . As said before on Ayrshires FB page a few minor tweaks perhaps needed to original draft but going in the right direction
  8. We have a debate running on FB for Ayrshire fanciers . Paul Mac joined last night and put a few issues to bed , in regards of marking stns etc . I am sure that by dialogue we will overcome any obsticles that might arise ,there will be some in each fed that will be 100 % against any change thats a given .but hopefully can be persuaded in due course. Early meetings and keeping fanciers informed of developments is the key.

  11. mine have ETS telephone rings on 3 returned via this method 26 others amiss in two weeks is this rule making a difference ??? i think not
  12. I just got mine back from Jedburgh today thanks to Robert Cairns who collected mine and a few Lanarkshire birds .
  13. Your words not mine , whose the clown ???? I think because they are locked in other lofts
  14. Aye thats right , between Ayshire Lanarkshire & Glasgow alone ther must be over 3000 birds missing and thats not counting The otherside of the country who also had teriible losses so all those birds are locked in imaginary lofts some where get a grip man. expletive remove. most will perish , eaten by bop , crows , seagu lls foxes etc etc.
  15. Ayrshire Fed had a disaster a week and half ago from Stubbs Camp , 1500 birds liberated to date maybe 400 are home , the amount reported or repatriated (by fanciers doing a fantastic job) is a very minor % of those still missing . to think the remaining missing birds are going into other lofts is folly unfortunatly, of these birds some will survive , most will perish .this is the sad truth of the matter .
  16. i got one last night under its own steam , the proceded to get hammered today training 6/16 from 9.50 this morning
  17. Sounds very similar to Ayrshires race on Sunday hope you get better as the day progresses.
