no its in the bhw today the same bit but has that conventional clocks will always be able for use.
-
dont let them out too early and not at the same time each day hawks get to know if u do, hawks only kill for feeding, so if been fed will only look but will know where to come for food, next time.

one way i dealt with a problem when i was president in my fed, members were calling for general meeting to sort out wether something was to be allowed or not allowed, so this was just a yes or no situation, instead of calling a general meeting which u would be lucky to get just a handfull turn up to deal with it, i sent out a letter to each club instructing them to call a meeting and vote yes or no, i also told them about a council meeting for a few days after this to put their club vote forward, ie if a club was entitled to 2 delegates then their vote which ever way counted as 2 and so on, my secy had a list of each clubs delegates and how many so a delegate from each club stood up when called and gave their vote for or against, this saved the hassle of a general meeting, also a lot more members turned up at their clubs than would have at a general meeting, and this is a good way i think as more members are getting their say.

agree, i have been on about this for ages even when i was fed president and shu councilor, but there is no reason for not calling a meeting of the fed ian u dont have to wait until u get the shu agenda the dates of the shu meetings are set out so we know when they are so u call a meeting a week before the shu one and u will most likely have the shu agenda by then, 9 times out of 10 anyway its the fed officials who are shu delegates so i never see any problem in calling a meeting, i done it once as president and had to cancell the meeting as only 4 members turned up. as i say the members are ok with the delegates doing as they please until something comes up that they do not want then they are calling for meetings and filling halls to deal with it, we must go by the rule book its the only way, and if delegates turn up at a meeting without being instructed by their members they should not be allowed to vote on anythging on the agenda, aso i have seen at time delegates from the same organisation voting against each other at meetings, this is out of order, and i agree with u its time this was put into action with delegates, also i think the delegates should come from the members other than officials as this would take away a bit of own authority from officials,
-
u have hit the nail on the head jade, officials and delegates are being left to run things, and as u see by some of the posts they get crusifide for it, but its the members fault they let them, until something they do does not suit them then the officials are taking over and not listining to the members etc, this is the problem, the members must take over their responsibillity and mandate their delegates .

if u cant get it off and u have system restore on ur pc, disable system restore, keep it disabled for 2-days then put it back on, this is how u get those ones off that ur virus protection cant shift, like trojan horses etc.
-
its not just the lanarkshire fed wings its all over ask how many clubs and feds have meetinngs to mandate their delegates u will be surprised, we are allowing our delegates to run things, its our fault, the members. and i admit i was a fed and shu delegate for 4-5 years and never once told by anyone how to vote or anything at meetings, and once again not my fault i was allowed to do it. as it was the way it has been done, but its wrong.
-
sean the manager and the council of the rpra has just brought in the ets becuase they must do all to help the disabled by law, i would write to the general manager, or better still e-mail him its quicker, and ask how ur club is getting away with what the are doing, dont resign because once u do u will not be able to do much, have a go with the rpra manager first, they have brought in ets because of the disabled act, it will do no harm to get in touch with him, and if u get no joy i would see ur local press, hope u get what u want for ur son all the best.

but it is there tammy if feds as they should do had meetings to mandate their delegates, the members would tell them how to vote, according to the majority vote at the fed meeting. then all members are getting their chance and say but if its left to delegates to do as they please then members arent.
-
but would'nt Ian if feds had meetings to mandate their delegates on how to vote,
-
yes arch and also its mostly the fed officials who are the delegates, which i think is wrong,as it gives too much power, the delegates can and should come from the members, but in the fife fed its been this for a long time just let the officials do it, and they vote etc for what they want, and this went on when i was president and delegate, and i brought this up but all u got was we have always done it this way and we dont have meetings, yes ok as long as all is going their way but the minute it doesnt, its who done this we dont want that. if it was all done properly ie, clubs having meetings to mandate their delegates for fed meetings and feds having meetings for to mandate their shu delegates, there is a meeting on sunday, have the fife fed members had a say in who is going to be elected president NO. the officials will vote for who they want, and this probably goes on through most of the feds.and that is why there is so many problems in the fancy in scotland today,

Clubs becoming Federations ????
THE FIFER replied to GREENGRASS's topic in Pigeon Politics, Rules & Regulations
so if u dont think the rule is fair then get a proposal in at the next agm to change it. the members make the rules and the members change them in the shu as they have members agms, -
once again tammy that's up to the members to put in a proposal for to change the rules, then it would be decided by the majority, any rule that is there is not the fault of anybody other than the members they put them there and they can change them,
-
no but this is the problem all over in clubs feds etc delegates are not mandated by their members as how to vote etc, so if not then they are going to do and vote as they want, what else can they do, i have even seen 2 delegates from the same organisation voting against each other, this should never happen as if they are they are not voting as their members wanted, probably becuase they have not been told, and this happens all the time and is the big problem in scotland, i was the same when i was a shu councilor nobody told me how to vote etc so i like most delegates do what we want, its the members fault for not having meetings to mandate ur delegates, DELEGATES ARE MESSENGERS, the only time a delegate should vote on his own discretion is if its something which was not on the agenda and then if there is 2-3 delegates from the same organisation they should come to a decission on hoow they are going to vote.
-
surely the shu committee is elected from the federations by the federation members ,not at the shu meeting. each fed according to membership is allowed delegated (SHU COUNCIL) the officials are elected at the shu meeting by the council, who should be instructed by their fed members who to vote for, DELEGATES ARE MESSENGERS,

cheers henrik. -
ur delegates (SHU COUNCIL) are the ones u appeal to as they run the shu, and are suposed to be instructed by their fed members as to how, if this is not done then its the members fault, officials are only 3 people, members are in their hundreds,
