i let one of PORTER&RICHARDSON stock hens out by mistake thought it was gone, 3 weeks later it was sitting on the loft, it has never been out again as i think it was trying to go back home.

let ur fantails out first so they have their fly around and once they come down on the loft let ur youngsters out with them, yes i would put them in the loft beside the youngsters to let them get used to them, i always have a couple of fantails in the youngbird loft, they learn the youngsters to eat etc, and have even saw them feed the youngsters.

I purchased a pair of ur LIGHTENBERG AARDENS at blackpool and i am very pleased with them, have a few youngsters from them, only raced 2 as youngsters as wanted some for stock, the 2 raced were steady and there for yearlings, i will be putting a youngster from them in the EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL one loft race 2008, will have to visit u again at blackpool as my pair are breeding all hens, need cocks,, could,nt make it ur sale as the traffic on the bridge was bad. see u at blackpool.

i use my laptop most of the time, yes i agree the touch pad takes a little getting used to, but once u do the laptop is very handy, take it anywhere around the house, i agree with your say regarding moderators, it must be left to the webmaster, if they were elected by the members they would have to please them to be voted on, the webmaster does a great job, and he controlles the moderators and keeps us in line, we only put threads or posts up for his inspection, if we think they are off line, it is he who deletes them or puts them back on site, hope u get ur pc back on ok,

no but it does belong to someone, namely the webmaster, and it is open to anyone to become a member, so why not go the full hogg and have the membership elected, if moderators were elected by the members they would have to be good boys, as do you think the ones they upset by deleting post etc would vote for them, and yes its made up of members who register and agree to the code of conduct which is made out by the webmaster who is responsible for the site, if members are going to say who is moderators and look after the site i dont think this would work, as there are members coming and going, and you could possibly get a groupe getting together and taking over, i think as long as i can remember the webmaster has done a great job keeping the site going and in good order, but its he and he only who can change things if needed regarding moderators, and as said before i think something along these lines were on site before and the webmaster dealt with it. and he is the only one who can.

I think the question of moderators regarding who chooses them has been on before and its the webmaster, as he is responsible for the site, if someone had a shop would they let the customers say who looked after it??
