  1. yes read it in a book once, crushing it changes, and gives out the substance which is good, also all chefs crush it before use.

  3. used garlic in my pigeons bath for a long time, to get the real benifit for drinking garlic should be crushed, not put in in lumps or bulbs,
  4. does it make them lay better ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

    Always Hungry

sometimes u get this when u change feeding, ie, from racing to moulting etc, its a good idea to do this by mixing the 2 mixes for the start then break into the one u want.
  9. lemons ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D sorry could,nt miss that one,
  10. yes quite a lot of the rpra ets rules are needing sorted, far too much say so by the officials etc and not the members, only officials allowed to have axcess to the admin data etc, and they are kept under lock and key with only the 2 officials having accsess, and both must be present when at them, also members clock serial numbers and names must be registered with the region, so does that mean if the region officials are not competent and willing to do this (RULE 230) then clubs etc cant use them, so really it only takes the officials of a club or fed or region to say no, and members cant use them,
  11. what size is it?
  12. the officials of an organisation with the rpra have the say so if they can be used or not, also there is a lot more to the rules with the rpra than members think, ets rule, 233: "THE NECESSARY HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE FOR THE ORGANISATIONS ADMINISTRATION OF ETS MUST BE HELD UNDER LOCK AND KEY AT THE ORGANISATION OR OTHER APPROVED PREMISES THE OPERATION OF THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE IS ONLY PERMITTED BY AUTHERIZED MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN ELECTED BY THE ORGANISATION>" so this involves two officials who must go together so there would have to be some sort of locks on the premises so one could not go by himself. rule 234: "PRIOR TO RACING ALL ETS CLOCKS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE CLUB AND SET WITH THE ETS RADIO CLOCK
  13. as long as the officials allow its use and they have the equipment and someone able to set them its ok, it doesnt have to be ur official clock setter, so long as they have been elected to do so. look at rule 233 above.
  14. its in the official 2007 ets rules under ELECTRONIC TIMING SYSTEMS, QUOTE: AND THE OFFICIALS ARE COMPETENT AND WILLING TO USE IT
  15. reading rule 230, tha last para as i stated in a post, quote "AND THE OFFICIALS ARE COMPETENT AND WILLING TO USE IT" means its the officials who have the say so, not the members.
  16. yes and its the OFFICIALS which have this power, not the members,
  17. very sad news, thinking of him and his family,
  18. i i think the last para in rule 230, QUOTE: "AND THE OFFICIALS ARE COMPETENT AND WILLING TO USE IT" i think its the "WILLING TO USE IT" part which gives them the say so, answers ur question.
  19. good idea not been thought of, ets rings are too big to go into a thimble, but could possibly go into a clock without one, i believe in nationals etc ets birds are rubbered for this reason, and u must clock the rubber as well.
  20. I bred a pair for sapper, as he bred a pair from the ones he bought at blackpool, for me, he raced the ones I gave him, and still got them I think, I kept the ones from him for stock to go with the ones i bred from mine, I raced a pair out, flew steady and still there, I have the pair i races and another 3 i bred for stock, (one was a single) they are Jan AArdens down from his "DELIGHTENBERG" lines.
  21. i would just e-mail the rpra and let then know, reporting them well depends on what u paid, report them there is a chance the owner may send for them??????????
  22. lovely birds, very pleased with th pair i bought at blackpool, got some good youngsters from them.
  23. mick when we got our demo from unikon they brought along a sputnick showing the different ways to set it up, they will give u all the info and different ways, i have mine fitted to an ordinary stall trap, instead of having the rtap outside the loft as usualy, u just push it in so the board they drop on is inside the loft, and u have the antina fitted under this. its just the landing board u have outside the loft.
  24. give it a good rinse with water and it will be good, although the lime should keep it ok.
