does it really cost that much to collect birds from each club a rich fed that still pennypinches we have already lost clubs to almondvally because they guarantee to collect there birds on a friday the lanarkshire fed will get smaller and smaller if there is not some good ideas coming foreward a happy fed is a good fed

could be that clubs with say under ten members may have to basket at the bigger clubs then next year clubs with under fifteen members then down to three or four clubs only wonder what the pool money will be like then and how many lanarkshire members will be lost with there clubs :'( :'( :'( :'(

marriots crossed very well with everything and gave you plum bodied birds that were great in the hand

check out where these two birds sit at night i am sure you will find a draught catching them shut off these perches and clean out there eye with saliva a couple of times that should cure it

i got some cracking marriots from a fellow called jimmy i cant remember his second name but he flew out of a garage next to the road in breeck up shotts way very nice fellow he was but i heard he has been very poorly for the last few years and his son is to do with them now but they are cracking birds

seems to me that the lanarkshire fed is in decline mr h with not picking up clubs is getting worse and it is only a matter of time before all races are central marking therefore putting pressure on clubs to stay afloat maybee his aim is only to have three or four super clubs and i am shure that this will cause a lot of resentment all to save a few pounds

douglas telfer walked into d/L flying club one day with a bucket with a load of eggs in it all off his black jets and asked everybody if they wanted eggs at a fiver each all off his stock birds nobody wanted them they thought they were too dear so he put a stick in the bucket and switched them all up true story

is it not benzing that is that price

lanarkshire fed boy are too busy with infighting just now trying to put different people in different sections just to try to win fed tickets instead of trying to do what you are trying to do shame on them all instead of trying to unite the pigeon fraternity and organise great racing it makes me cringe at times

the longest channel race should be and always has been six hundred miles plus

to fly all channel races over five hundred miles and not a cop out like ypres

they should buy a giraldy it is under seven and a half tons so anyone with a older driving licence could drive it and i am sure we could get volanteers to drive it .some saving on a contract driver

the lanarkshire fed can afford it one hundred thousand pounds in the bank just as long as we dont have to buy a giraldy

why do you want a basket weaver i thought the lanarkshire fed had people to sort the baskets and to keep them in the perfect condition that we are used too

seems to be small birdage for a fed wee macs beating over six thousand birds some weeks in the lanarkshire fed

seems to me that these inland races are taking birds away from the channel races especialy in lanarkshire where these races are now a part of the fed program if any one of these two inland races are disasters the gold cup entry could be even lower than it was this year and forces national flyers in lanarkshire to find other alternatives to set there birds up going with other feds e.t.c

i do not think there should be any inland races for national positions minimum distance 500mls max 650 i.e. 500..540..650...500 true national flying

it does not seem to pan out that way the shortest flyers seem to get the worst result with a night out but if it is a early lib and a quick race the borders are totally dominant
