I had an awkward situattion yesterday, from Minstead i took the 1st 8 positions from 300 birds. It wasnt my intention or was it any great achievement as it was a short race. All the members who sent were on ETS and all let there clocks run, that way its easier to monitor returns, the sect made the decision to put 8 down not me, i would have been happy with 6 as thats the norm. I suggested last year that we had a rule on this however everyone shot me down!!! We are lucky its a very competative club so what goes around comes around so to say but i did feel a little awkward. Unikon for me mainly because its robust esp the pads, i have 5 on at the moment and nothing is missed, the rings are well made too. Have noticed at my mates who have another make his cables get hot along with the pad, he has had problems with pin connections etc, it just doesnt look man enough to me. Stuart

Up tp 20 now, i like you start them short but once there at 10 miles i jump them to 25 miles and now 35 miles.

Belguims Number 1 Sprinter, in whos words, there are awards Such as Ace Sprint Pigeon KBDB, Olymoic Ace Pigeon Vitesse, did it win any of these????? Belguims Ace Sprint champions over the years include Kannibal, Dirk Van Dyck, Olympic of Gust Janssens, VIP of Charles Lanacker etc!!!

Gareth Hanson have an agent in HOLLAND who deals with them on a very regular basis, if you can get the bird to hansens then they can send it to Holland, then Raymond can send it to the UK and then home!!!! We may even be able to get it to Glasgow from Amsterdam. Stuart

Tony C, i 100% aggree with your statement, if you are going to send yearlings on widowhood in April the following year they have to have 5 or 6 races under there belt, i found this out last year 6 later bred birds that were trained on widowhood, all gone by week 3, the other 6 on Natural and sent to first race in May 5 from 6 left and 5 from 5 after there 2nd year). But as a rule test the majority!!! which follows Gareth point. Stuart
