i have read all the posts on this ,and its obvious theres a problem getting age on our doos. i have raced doos for 38years now,and not a lot of progress has been made regarding the transpot side of things.i can remember loading the fife fed motor,as far back as 70's (we had 3 at that time ,and only lanarkshire was bigger birdage in scotland) and it was so warm the sweat was running down my back,it was that warm in the motor.so i really dont think a bit of perspex on the roof is the problem. the clocking of the doos has improved since i came in to this sport,stb's t3's ets. the doo crib....if it works then its right. we all train our own doos in different cars,vans,trailers etc from years ago, lots of cars have air conditioning do these fanciers get great training with there doos....i doubt it. the variables we cant control are raptors and the weather. the raptor problem is responsible for more fanciers packing up than ets or pigeon politics will ever be. think about the weather ,we have times in the doo season that in a 12hr period we have had rain,wind,brilliant sunshine and heavy cloud in a space of 50mls. jmo

get real baldy,sales only work when you have buyers and the doos they want at a sale. after this years racing some folk are still undecided about carrying on. and as you know you cant be forced to give to or buy at a sale. one of the worst sales i went to had plenty of outsider doos ...but not enoughy folk to buy them

when or if you join any orginisation,you do so under there rules. if you want to change them....nae probs...agm and no where else kinda simple really

fife libbed at 11am at kelso we got hammered. i tossed 8 latebreads at 6pm on sat 30ml toss and got a great toss,late afternoon and sunday was far better for the doo's.......but NOBODY will be fighting to take on the controllers jobs!

sent 4 first ane at 2.23 another ane at back o 4 got ane at 6.30 sunday morning other ane not to be seen. the hawks would defo hit the convoy on more than 1 point of the journey. we all know that...but as yet we cant do anything about it. this is only my opinion , but as it was so hot on friday and forecast to be hot on saturday would it not have been better to lib at 5 or 5.30 I got told tonight it was 17'C at 5.30 am at the lib site

not on here as much as i used to be ,nowt to do with pb just work stuff, but i do think the old format was pretty good , and a lot better for computer dummies to work with

we had that couple oh seasons ago and we had the same kind oh race but it wasnt as hot as today leaders doing good times but some fanciers toiling for returns

i think there where a few feds at otterburn today including us fifers, we left and came back to kelso and had a 4.30lib and good race.a heard that the feds that stayed and libbed near the 4pm mark had a good race. think this just goes to show that the controllers job is probably the hardest in the doo game. hope yous glasgy boys get them in the morning

just back from edinburgh about 30 mins ago heavy rain on the south side oh the bridges still cloudy and cold in kirkcaldy

as it stands now,we have life rings,if the plastic comes off the 'metal' ring our doo is knackered. most of us have had it. in this day and age surely a wee daft doo can get a second chance 'ie' some kind of identidy after original has been broken,cut off,dont work
