hey rich, have you tried the penny, it does work, ive been using it for years and ive found it to be pretty accurate, tie string about eight inch to a penny, hold just above birds back towards rump, hold still and penny will start to move head to tail direction for a cock, side to side or circular motion for a hen, it does work , honest.

the losses everyone has had the last few years in y/b and old birds has affected us all, i just think that we should all be doing our best to help birds get back to fly another day, its up to the individual as to weather he isolates, i hope they do, its common sence,nobody wants a bird reported with all the hassle and expence and at the end of the day, maybe for nothing but the transporters are running to allpoints every w/end, its no hardship to get birds on to get them closer and give them a fighting chance to make it back. jmo davy.

i collected birds from davy last year for the north o scotland fed and the birds were in excellent condition, it was down to poor weather at the forth that these birds didnt return, most flyers were glad to have their y/birds back so after arniston i will be visiting davy again, he does a brilliant job for the birds.

hi, just wondering about returns from fed race at perth today ,buckie returns were sketchy to say the least, my race controller checked line o flight which was clearing to good , i also phoned a doo flyer in carnoustie who told me, coast was clear with good visibility inland east n west from him, we had a fresh southerly at racepoint with sun through broken cloud at 12 30 so decided to lib at 1 00 o clock,the doos werte well watered and had plenty of time to drink although i dont see many y/b take a drink out of the crates, on lib the birds cleared well straight north on direction of the old bells factory at last r/bout leaving perth, personally had one out of race time, clocks at six, others had poor returns out of big entrys, there being no feds north of us and fife fed libbed at 11 30 for a 40 or so fly from arniston the only thing i can think of is predation by hawks, mebbe scattered in all direction, your thoughts on this would be appreciated, davy convoyer.

used to but a lot cheaper at lidl ,got fed up waiting for them to be ready, but saying that i love a pot o broth wi fresh veg .

hi ryesway, me and my son lee were down last year to get the birds off but were held over, we went up town and the place was lovely, we walk ed along the river and saw a big fish jump , i wished we had rods with us but had to settle for fish n chips instead, they were lovely as well, aye its a nice place is newark and a good lib point aswell.

jimmy, i drove through these wet patches coming back from newark, bad wether sighns up on a1 from alnwick to edinburgh,libbed birds at 07 40 into slight southerly breeze and warm, was hoping they would have passed through before bad weather was forecast?what was it like with you around 11 o clock ish, on way home weather was lovely all the way untill dundee area , mind you i must have been 4 hrs behind the doos.
