stu i never train till it's at least 13 deg and the winds west or southwest
  4. delbars for me and ours came from a true gentleman of the sport who came from your area J.L Roberts Marple
  5. it's cost me £50this week to pay my snfc and apply to the snrpc so i'll not be joining any more i'll get enough racing out of these 2
  6. baytryl is made up of 2 poisons and if the precise dosage is not administered then you can seriously damage the birds to an extent that they will be no use for racing only can be kept as stokk pigeons if there good enough.Rod adams told me this

tell that to a team of 50 y/bs when they've been scattered to the 4 corners of the earth after a strike you'll no hae a quarter of them left to become STREETWISE. whats ur definition on streetwise, running inside the loft every time a crow caws or taking off in some direction till the coasts clear or maybe lying against the black slated slopes of the house roof like the streeters if this is how u want to keep doo's ib then i think u'll be on ur own (scared)
  11. to steal mine they would have to break into the lofts first, then make a helluva racket wi a hammer to get the pads out so all i can say is the pads on plots must be too easily accesable (what)
  12. me aswell my pads are still sealed in from last year and they'll not be coming out.Think u can still make it a club rule as long as the majority of members agree to it

    y/bs

didn't go to the y'b national but won the club from the y'b open, think i was 2nd as well (need to check) anyway as 7th and 20th open and that was against the darkies
  14. go canny with ur y'bs cos these are ur future.i don't mean don't test them but sometimes u can put all ur eggs in the one basket (speaking from experience)

    y/bs

no bother as another pb member mentioned as long as theres other y/bs (older) to push them along wouldn't worryabout the moult though i personally don't send y'bs to a race if they have only 3 flights to go once the 7th goes thats them finished for me.Idon't do darkness and still won 4 from 6 races with y'bs in 2008 and thats in a 32 member club with an average 18 sending every wk

  18. yes as long as its still in date and been refrigerated after you used it the last time(ok)(ok)
  19. is john ellis not got a GB rung hen that has scored every year out of the inland national with winnings of about £7,500 for the last 5 years
  20. some fanciers keep various strains of birds but in y experience distance birds can win at shorter races but birds bred for sprinting won't do at the distance unless strong tailwinds hence shorter time on the wing
  21. i mean talking too (ma heeds up ma *expletive removed*) (ok)(ok)
  22. aye ur right must have to frankie boy(wiseman)(wiseman)(wiseman)
  23. right STUART what about a pair of y/b's noo (hehe)(hehe)
  24. never did mine any harm (ever)
  25. no bother j.a.m but on weaning i give each bird half a spartrix canker tablet.I think when youg are being fed thru regurgitation small cuts etc could allow canker deposits to get a grip. It's something i've always done for many years now
