  1. Depends if they have finished ranging. They don't fly for hours any morw, or with the gust and zest they did before. But often it is because the feed isn't right. Likewise not hungry won't fly, too hungry hang around loft to get fed. Think personally, but haven't done it yet, that 20 mile chucks in any and every direction, every day, with light tib - bits to trap them in, and fed per night proper like at same time. If one is able to do it, or be around. Me, the best I've ever done with y/b's is 3 chucks race week after they have well finished roaming, and are hopping from roof to roof etc.. Monday 30 miles South, 35 miles West or North and 70 miles of East when I take the missis and grandchildren sea side.
  2. I think if others, and many more, posted here, and other sites, and not just fanciers, but keepers, Consevatives etc. etc. any one who has an interest, then it would soon amass to a very lot and prominent list.

True Wings... but as Just ask Me says 'im not so sure bc was not at its best also jockey made a bad mistake also travelling the whole way across the world does not help often the best of ireland and england go to the breeders cup in the states to under preform If the real B C turned up, was better aclimatised etc. Jockey got his finger out etc. B C time would have been a lot faster. I don't think one could realistically then think for a moment that Dandy would have been in the same race time wise. Records like BC don't just happen, it takes a very good horse regardless where raced. His 200metres under 10s econds is some speed.... twice as fast as Usain Bolt lol. Is 6 now of course, so top speed must have waned a bit. Why I think about the Champion hurdles for B.C. jmo
  4. Great, congratulations to all.

Think that Ascot, and this season has been a rather bit special regards some great horses performances. I, personally, don't think twe have seen this year a horse that could live with Frankel from 6 furlongs to a mile and half. Some boast I know. Camelot wouldn't have a chance, and I think that they will definately be kept from meeting each other, mostly because of breeding fees etc.

Agreed John. I think thoug the jockey was a mite lapsidical. However a good rest, and 6 - 8 months on... Would love to see it happen. But of course they obviously know best, and the welfare of her must be paramount.

    Ok ...But ...!

Agreed Tiger and geordie1234 Ditto here, 5 brothers and three sisters etc. etc. Most done well. But Tiger, if through no fault of their' own yours lose their' jobs, can't get any work, and have any helped as of now entitled and paid into for, stopped, decreased even more on a regular basis, I can guarantee you won't be saying 'Ah well, that's life', I guess they will have to go without till time changes... and of course there will always be a bed etc. here for them here'. I don't doubt for a minute you, and your's will / would rally round them and help as most decent and hard working families have and will continue to do. That is Chameleons big 'Social' thing he is harping on about and trying to introduce - Sorry IS introducing. But I'd wager odds that you, like must after a while when housing benefits cease, and dole money keeps getting cut, and one thinks that they are back on the meagre bread line and goverment hands out back in the 30's, you won't be saying 'Aye, as long as those that have it, make the most of it, doesn't matter'. No! More like I've work hard, like my sons all my life(s) and paid my dues into the coffers to be entitled, and now I / we get nothing, but the weathy are still raking it it' etc. When Tiger you, like me and thousands of others are penalised as the Chameleon says ' You have savings you aren't ntitled to anything'. I know you wouldn't be saying 'Ah bully for them and tough on us ... and so it should be'.

Fared well at the last Rugby game. A good hard close call. Ireland, well unbelievable. I'd say you would have got odd's of 10.000 to one before the game. New Zealand are no doubt an awesome side. Must say also Englands draw against S. Africa shows they are on the upside for S. Africa are certainly no slouch team. All in all I think this was a great learning cuRve for the home nations. One that shows just where they stand Rugby wise world wide. Was good to see Care back and Flood... Were missed I believe in the last six nations.

Any one and everyone of the working class can be unemployed within no time at all. One thing I always here is before hand 'If they want to work they can'! After, when can't afford much, is the reality of getting a job, especially one that is A. full time, and B. pays above the bare minium. 'Well getting thing straight eh! Yes I can see why the abolishing of slaves was real. Working 7 days, sometime till 10 gone at night for £13 day, less room and what they want to send back. But then again That's ok because they are subsidisers of the doll lol. But then again this helps the welthy, not the ecomony! SAnd well this goverment knows it. In reality if I earn the minimum wage, which the vast amount are of £240 a month. Less stoppages, coming out with upto £160, and three kids to support, pay mortgages etc. etc. and this Chancellor gives the rich club another £40,000 of their tax, which is very low if at all in the first place, then another £19.000 grand just a few weeks back, when they are in real terms 1/3 better off already stinks. And 'We are all in it together'! Forgot to say in the crap for the workers and in the money for the wealthy. A billionaire is £330.000 better of within one year of this government. Our take home of £160 should equate to £220 in the same 'All in it together' crap. Now we have yet again given the banks a massive injection of cash AGAIN , that's three times sine this government has done so since in office, NOT to bail out the greedy gits like the last government had to, but so that they can lend to the small companies AS was the last two. But of course they know it won't go to help the small man, businesses, but line the wealth's pocket and pay more bonuses out Fact that. And we are all in it together...

Black caviar holds speed records, 200 metres in under 20 second ETC. Has stamina etc. in abundance too. Was very badly ridden yesterday I feel. However, no I don't think she would live with either of them two, Frankle and Camelot. Well certainly not as a 6 year old... four is best time for horses I believe in the main. 2 -4. However I'd love to see Black Caviar in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham. I wouldn't be suprised, and I'd say her owner must has certainly thought about it. Who knows, maybe likely already schooled as to her protential. JMO

Think Camelot won't be entered in the sames races, mores the pity. Like Brigadier Gerrad and Mill Reef. If mill reef have been beaten the costs of retirement would have dwindled immensely. However I think O'Brien hass seen Frankel class when beating his other horses to know any outcome if both horse areat their best. 6 year old Black caviar thrown oin too if Distances can suit the all lol. Mind I feel the Black Caviar could well be turned to Hurdles, Steeple Chases even. She certainly has the size and feel that even now, that her name would be blazen to new hieghts.

Fine Tiger, buit first give them the chance to work, instead of throwing them out of work. I hope you have the kids and grandchildren to support Tiger when that too won't be able to work, Paid out of you ever degreasing pension lol.
  13. Hundreds of thousands of young people could be stripped of housing benefit and forced to live with their parents as part of a new welfare crackdown signalled by David Cameron. The Prime Minister insisted the system was giving the wrong incentives as he urged more action to prevent feckless families relying on state handouts. The comments, in an interview with the Mail on Sunday, come ahead of a keynote speech on welfare Mr Cameron is due to deliver next week. The measures said to be under consideration include scrapping most of the £1.8 billion in housing benefits paid to 380,000 under 25s, worth an average £90 a week, forcing them to support themselves or live with mum and dad instead. It could also mean stopping the £70-a-week dole payment for individuals who do not try hard enough to get work and forcing a hard core of unemployed to do community work after two years - or lose all their benefits. OK but why doesn't he start putting jobs on the market first instead of throwing thousands out of work every week to make the rich Richer etc. A law that if you had to give up you house you're buying, or get evicted etc. you will still be responsible to pay the interest rates you would have paid. Then con's thousands to become 'Tories' and union haters by compulsory Council house sale, - which money wasn't allowed to build more houses etc. but went to government coffers. Then throws them out of work and puts interests rates up to 18% one time. Consequently 1000's a day lost their homes, which her cronies buy up cheap as 'Housing Associations etc. That is was 1000's declared bankruptcy, the only way out. Thousands were they that went years paying etc. Instead of the thousand coal miners putting £70 - £100 a week into the coffers she closes pits and steel works for her cronies investing overseas and bring in worst quality goods at higher prices. Besides then having to pay £200 or more out of the Coffers to those forced on the dole. Like the hospital workers now, the Police losing 34,000 whom instead of paying will be taking out at great costs to us all... well not the millionaires etc. of course. So first off give all the genuine ones a job! Indeed plentiful so one can see those that don't want to work. AND we all know some of those. Then perhaps it will be that one is better of working, than not! Mind, if he wants to save $billions on these things, he should finger print or something the immigrants that collect dole from 3 or 4 different dole offices. Make a few of the Million empty homes available and no more 4 / 5 families living in one house. Then the Thousands used for cheap labour, he should close the rings down and take away these 'Slaves' from the rich employers who flout the law with his blessings. Time those that have paid the same percentage of their earnings as the worker does, has too. Then he can spout from the roof tops in all honesty that he is being realistic and fair!
  14. First of the Three C's missing. I.e. not contented in the loft.
  15. Regards Jimmy Carr I think the hype has made him publically say 'He Regrets' etc. Possibly regrets he paid any at all. I certainly don't think he and many others actually give a rat's a$se. There he is one week meeting the Queen. Then hob nobbing with the Chameleon, and get a slap eh! For not paying his share. Now Thatcher and the Chameleon spouted, and he still does struth! That one should be able, indeed should save for the Retirements! Fine, so many have, and did. We paid our dues, paid our taxes, and the EXTRA EVERY DAY hidden taxes etc. Get taxed on savings in real terms, and what does the Chameleon do! Start cutting our pensions etc. if you have savings. Take away our bus passes we paid for. etc. etc. So we are penalised yet again for doing what they suggested, and YET we still have to pay out more on what already DUES we have already paid! Now the Chameleon states he adored Thatcher and rates her as the best PM ever and hopes to be half as good... Think he is certainly trying to live up to that!

    Passing Spain

I see that Spain made over 800 passes against the rep. Only way England could do that is if we entered Wayne Rooney on Master Mind

    Woman In Court

I saw a sticker in a car the other day. It said 'I miss Glasgow...' So we jumped on the bonnet, kicked the windows in, stole a mobile and casette etc. Then left a note saying 'I hope you feel more at home now'! lol
  20. Agree... but the bill will have to be met and paid. Green and Co have boughtnthe club at a real knock down price, and when buying they also buy any debts and monies owing. But they aren't stupid, they know just what costs have to be met and paid. Like my ma always said, any goverment body need paying will get their dues, even if it costs more than the bill.
  21. Bernie, no disrespect to those that just fill the coffers, and the odd one getting some decent merit, but the fact is that it is forthe East Coast boys. Those in Essexs etc. certainlt earn any brownie points, but only for those that know and look up the performances. Was trying to get some interest in flying with the london combine etc. past two seasons. Who knows, may well happen yet.
  22. About a quater of what a good striker will cost eh! Think the HM Goverment are right, and for the reasons that they have stated. Think it will now mean a consortium will be gelled and a way forward found. I hope so... Don't want the jocks coming down to support man U lol
  23. Well they were distraught... and did go straight down to fetch here.... Big Deal.
  24. Yep, Louth etc. will be home and still dry before the inland members birds start to turn inlan ... or work back as they usually do having gone down the coast to far. Yes they will come out and follow the coast line over the sea very soon. Depending of strength of wind of course, between 3 and 15 miles out. Bad winds mean over on the continent of course. Hence why it is affectionally called the East Coast Club. Mind will be good birds today getting into London and good luck to any West, or Welsh flyers. Not knock, as we all know the reality, but I think there will be many good, to great results not getting anywhere near the merit they deserve, and likewise, I doubt today that the best birds in the race will be at the top of the winners list of the National. However, most know this. Especially those sending on a wing and a prayer. Good like to everyone entered.
  25. Are you implying that it called into a loft etc. fed and watered and had it's ring took off, yet still would have finished third and well up in the Fed! I don't think so personally. Think one is given a bad name scenario when undeserved . Any way, personally, if my pigeon calls into a loft and then makes it way home,- It wouldn't be in the club / fed placings - I'd be pleased if the ring had been taken off. At least I ould know it had been A. fed and watered and released and been in another loft and have no illusions as to it's worth and merit. And that would be a cheaper, yet well spent £1 30!
