  1. The Crack, and co are among the most polific breeders of winners there is ---- was. I believe Jim Biss may also have had a relation to it.
  2. Kipps Brothers.... Frank Bristow, ,but having said that it wasn't a Kipps that won the gold cup for him. Yet he has many different strains, mostly directs if not all. Has Tasse, Cessearts, de Honts Kipps etc. etc.
  3. Nigh everyone ??) : :'(
  4. Heard of a good one in Kempston around dinner time today. That is some bird.... Still only the two in the Fed so far...
  5. Well I'll go to the foot of the Stairs. Nottingham, Melton and Leicester have one and Now Desborough has one... so I won't win tjhe Fed lol... But london should be getting them today after all if it stays as it is... and don't deteriate too much.

Same here in Northants... been some decent patches of just overcast though.
  7. Where are we here realistically. They were released with the view of second day timings.... will be most, way up in the 90% of empty perches tonight I'd wager. Heard one has got to Nottingham... good bird that! I am also flying Thurso - not lerwick as I posted earlier - and think if I get one later tonight I'll win the club, if not the Fed... So good luck all, and hope I'm wrong and there are some earlier ones...
  8. No I'm not packing up pigeons, hence why I am up needlessly and 4 30 this morning, and expect a few hours yet before I get a bird, but if it gets home, you should be there to greet it and do your part. Thanks for the very kind words spoken on here, Yes will be looking in, but won't post as much. Good luck to all those waiting for birds today.

  11. Well, seems I have come to the end of the road... Nissed as a pewt and bored, so that's at least a bonus eh! As I am the last to post on most topics, and beings as I am a mite forthright, I don't intend to post much any more.... Been there etc. But will look in from to time. Had a good time, and wish everyone a great uture, but will will refrain a big mite in future, good luck everyone for the future, and take care Roland
  12. Time for us to get a life!!! ... yeah I know #Forget it and wait for them droning hoofs eh!
  13. Yep very true... so stuff the so called pigeon men.... get what the spineless gitd deserve I suspect...How true? Post other wise and WHY!!!

  15. How, so sadly, very ntrue
  16. Ah... fanciers around the world send me them... oops...never mind, confirmed I must be nissed as a pewt lo ;D
  17. Had two sparrow hawk nest within a 100 yards of me... but guess I'm lucky, or so it seems as I ent seen hide or tail of them this past season. Strange really because the ole Dealict Cinema has upteen ferals for easy meals, a right regular take away.
  18. Yep Les you oh so right... it's the same ole song... even the same beat alas. Fanciers worldwide know the answers, paths to take and there are umpteen... but still leave to my Brady... the invisable, ... well the one that they hope is wearing shiney armour and a galleant white steed is.... Invisable, but I guess it's easier to expect others than put your own name on a doted line eh!

    t3 clock

I know, how true, dropped mine once when trying unlock me door when I finally got home... was a write off ;D ;D but true
  21. At days end I guess it's down to what you feel is acceptable and what you expect. You will put what you 'Feel is cosha' and if others get up your wicke, then I guess one does like the rest have done since the year of dot. Put up with it, do it yourselve or pack the sport in! Guess most in the end do the later for whatever reason.
  22. Northants, a couple of miles from JakJak... and also a couple of miles from the A. 14.
  23. Best bird(s) I ever had came / come from there, a certain Tom Robinson...
  24. Will say that I am 100% positive when saying that 95% 'Mobb Flyers' that loves to clock everything in before the next one does tend to be the biggest cry baby when it's done to him. Again everyone sent isn't neccate for clocking. Sent last two weeks not taking clock home.... Just needed the miles under their wings. So two tosss, two 100 milers and into thurso. Yes I will take my clock back with me Friday and wait till they are released with bated breathe. Just two birds clocked though in each club regardless. - have two young men in one club thrilled too bits when 3rd and 4th from Bergerac when teenagers, great flyers now and there every week seding ... I won the club by 1 hours, and 2 was 10 hours in front ... have a few never went in the clock... Feel I did some good and certainlt no harm, and what's more is that THEY Still don't, or ever will know. Doesn't it make you laugh to see a fancier, say clocking in 2 - 4 good decent birds say around the 11 ypm mark, down to 870ypm even, and knowing many others have their bulk home still clocking around the 550ypm mark! No prize money left, not in the first thousand or so by a long chalk, and still waiting to clock more in hours later... better off going up the pub and talking silly 'Tavern Talk' with the experts I reckon ;D
