Well that's a good interesting read. Think EVERYONE ought to copy and send it to their MP's etc.
-
Once sorted no problem of course lol ;D ;D
-
Duncan lives in Portugal now I believe. Tony Sibson's father was a fancier all his life.... May want to go a round or two eh! ;D ;D

Well I was calling in on Stan the Man yesterday when the engine blew up on the M5 on way back from Bristol. It was only reconditioned for a few grand 3 weeks ago. So will pick up crates via my car possibly Sat morn Stan. Sorry I missed you ... AA wouldn't make a detour when towing me home lol ;D ;D That was also funny to say the least. First had a 'Breakdown service to tow me of the M5, - 2 hours later than said -and supposedly have the AA take a look like. So went into a BP service station in Bromsgrove. Then a tow into the Hopwood servive station! :-/ Then the AA towed me home. So from 12 till seven I was stranded piddling about like. Still, got home - soaking wet and cold :) ;D

True. Even the old birds don't like them.
-
If he doesn't sale I'll buy the two youngsters ;)
-
Of course Ireland is fully involved - to some extent - with the Euro, so be that as it may. Hope they sale well for you Lee. Certainly are nice birds, no two ways about that. Jam Jars accepted? :P ;D ;D
-
Nah, Now that would be silly Lee. I could put up a Money / Exchange / converterhere - in fact I have one in favourites. But as I live in Britain, and am a happy Brit, I think £'s etc. is what we Brits still deal in. So everyone to there own I guess. Never mind, I would have loed that Grizzle, but I'll pass and won't be bidding. Good luck to all thoses that will.
-
Looks like a Voilet eye from this angle. A breeders eye.
-
Well I'm a Brit, and proud of it ... so nuts to the Euro lol ;D
-
Think £'s would be better than Euro's personally. So as I would like to bid, I will await the outcome.
-
Rights! Well the right thing to do I guess is to become an 'Unsung Hero! Just don't spout either way.
-
Agree lol.... have still to try and get three crates of pigeons on the back seat. Now in the 50's / 60's many fanciers, my dad included, used to take their birds to the club via bu. The front was packed with crates lol. True. Well as for the boycott, well this is the third time it has been tried... to no avail. Like us fanciers I deem, leave it to any and everyone else, but they personally need...

Simple solution, have a platform 2 inches lower inside of the Bob Wires. They'll hop through just as quick. Won't cost oat. just a couple of bricks, or attached to a wooden frame. Job done. If, like other countries it has to be inside the loft's upright, then just have the bob wires moved back to be level of the upright, and a board two inches lower again. Birds will soon adapt.

Don't know. But I have, as on the odd occasion before, one yearling (May Bred) that hasn't dropped a single feather at all. Still has the phone number on from last year like.
-
Mine is, if I use the ET, inside anyway, so I couldn't give a plum monkeys' cake hole lol ;) ;D ;D ;D Mind at least the 'Confides' as to 'Confided' has been cleared up.

I think, personall he did well regards the nieghbours. many just shrug shoulders and spout 'Cats have a license to roam, which of course they don't. So are responcible. Alf takes a new drowned cat and shows any new nieghbours that have cats znd tells them, 'If your cat comes into my garden piddle and crapping and trying to kill my pets, you will have tpo pay for the damages, which could mean hundreds of pounds, and your cat will be like this one. One whose owners didn't believe me'. They usually spat 'How can we stop our cat from ....' Simple answer then is 'Not my problem, don't know nor care, but that is how it is and will be'! He culled 12 in one week in a water Butt rumour has it'! No he don't get hardly any cat problems.

Think it is only with her 'Telling' actually that means he has to lol ;D ;D

Had a young streeter come in twice, then hanged around for the next day etc. Looked a picture. No two ways about that, it was in fine fettle. Probably from a mating of a couple of mine - lost a few - that took up lodgings in the dialect Cinema over the road. Yes has a few well bred youngsters took off and stayed there and that's for sure. Thought about cleaning it up and letting it be a 'Watch out' bird. But it waqs the 'Disease element' that made me forget it. Haven't seen it of late, but then again the birds aren't out much.

Animial welfare group ruffled over Mike Tyson's NYC pigeon racing TV show Module body Sun Mar 21, 9:55 PM By The Associated Press ADVERTISEMENT NEW YORK - An animal welfare group wants New York City prosecutors to investigate Mike Tyson's reality television show about pigeon racing. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says the Brooklyn-based show is cruel to animals and its races could involve illegal gambling. The show will follow Tyson as he competes in pigeon races. The former world heavyweight champion has raised pigeons all his life but is a racing rookie. The show airs next year on Animal Planet. A spokeswoman says there have never been plans for wagering on the races. She says the pigeons will be "cherished and respected by their owners," including Tyson. PETA sent a letter dated March 18 to the Brooklyn district attorney's office requesting an investigation. District attorney spokesman Jonah Bruno says the office is looking into the allegations This from an organisation that kill thousands of creatures every year! :-/ :-/ :o

Has well been known that kittens - especially neutared Tom's - allowed to in the loft, or to grow up with pigeons do do just that. Likewise the dog that is brought up with cats etc. When I was a lad, and cats seemed more prevalant then, we had just that too. Cats up on our fences and lofts / walls etc. chasing cats, and likewise our dog, Alsation x Lab more than did the chores onde the ground. So for several years my fathers loft was well care for and the pigeons never ever battered an eyelid.

I need his phone number

What is equally, if not more shocking, is that Richard Bray, spouts and postures and tell them to do 100 hours community... Whilst they then are obviously housed - to say us harding tax paying citizens from unwanted lodgers presumably. Not, a quick one way ticket home after a few months inside writing in English 'I must not be a twot and encumbenate and take the pee of the British kind, haearted people#. Even if the 'Law Makers live in nice homes with police patrols regular and safysticated hi tech alarms etc.
