Roof chimnies are great and have been proven over the years in batteries and Pig housing. I have the overlap roof now, and never had to, but would if need be not hesitate for a second to fix 4 Moter fans to top of the gaps around and under the roof. Two blowing in and two drawing out. Have some brilliant fans that I bought whe I was gigging that kept the gear in the Rack as cool as a cucumber. So no over heating of the gear. These were only £7 each and are superb too. Noiseless and effiecent. Would only use thes at the bottom though to put an fresh air flow in.

Yep, just as I like salt on my chips and does the taste a world of good, so salt to B.O.P. does a world of good eh!

I saw Eusabio up ended times. Just rolled and go straight up and carried on. Remember Nobby Stiles putting him 4 foot in the air and landing with a thud. He got up instantly and forced a corner. Then rubbed his ankle / shins etc. Saw Pele times get looked at and fell over. Indeed was the Father of the Dive. No two ways about tha. Eyes switchin turns from on the ball, to the Referee, whilst the other on the player. Only had to grimmace and had a free kick. Would the like of Matthews lived in todays game. Certainly not as they were.... But would have adapted and still be great players. Every bit as good as they were then etc. of course. Remember when we went up to head a ball... praying the lace wasn't going to rip into your forehead, and when wet took a minute to get your neck out of your shoulders it was so heavy lol. So that alone took it's toll on the speed and strengths in the game.

Well as for george Best being the greatesh ... poo - eh. Great ball control with fantasticly quick reactions. But remember well the word of Sir Bobby Charlton regards George and have to go along with them as all his - nigh - speak volumes to the truth of them. 'If he ever looked up, he'd been a far far better player, and he he could learn to pass a ball, then a great player'. Further, Bobby Charleton and several other top players in that era said 'By far the best player he'd ever play with, or against, or ever seen was unquestionly, and I've played against and along of Pele, Eusabio (etc. etc) was undoubtedly 'Duncan Edwards'. He was a great reader of the game at every level. Good in the air, tackling and passing, dribbling and laying of the ball with pin point accruacy, indeed he had the lot in abundance....' Now when the ones just a little older than me, had their say in any level in this regards, whether Nationally, or for Manu etc. those that saw both simple stated Duncan was a class above everyone else. Indeed throughout the world, and we are talking of other greats like Gento, Di Steffano, Puckas. The great world class defender John Charles etc. Yet Duncan was held in hiher esteem than them all.... Arguably the greatest that ever played the game.... Sadly George was no where near in any of these class. Indeed an insult to say so. And it is only the lads of 68 onwards that grew up with George that do say such things about him. And nigh everyone a Man U guy at that I guess. None before, nor after... which again is natural I suppose.

why does SNFC have 3 race controllers instead of 3 phones this day and age why blame race controllers for bad race results take a french race take the race point on camera put onto computer show the weather condition then post same on computer same at channel another point into england if they want is it not time to move with the times in stead of blaming race controllers if the members see the conditions are right and nothing in there way what better informanation do we need 8) 8) This has been put forward to The NFC. THE MNFA etc. etc. and all have thrown the idea out out of hand. Diabolical I think. Of course it should have been implemented years ago. But won't. Tradition etc. and shot sightedness. This one progressive step that could and should have been implemented. then 1/2 after sun up and onwards we could all tune in to the site and see for our self .... likewise 'Down the Line' and have verbal confirmation regards the Wind, it's strengths and directions etc.

Well will if they want to and that's for certain. Gosh youngster ahve wtook the first 4 and 7 out of the top ten having their first toss and race at 238 miles. Alan Bland was his name. Another school boy sent his 3 y/o 400 miles first toss in a National and won that. I used to, because I had no money granted - send mine youngsters straight into 140 mile race at Northallerton. Was loft fit and honmed with the leaders. Sent two years on trot youngster 30 West Monday, 38 miles South Tuesday 45 North on the wednesday and and 70 miles east coast Thursday and 140 miler first race.... would have took the first 22 places in club, and drop the other of 23, same next year .... Mind :-/ :-/ I trained them slow and careful last year, they went to Nottingham 3 times, 3 days rest, Sent 16 to their first race 140 miles ... never saw a feather( Mind was a bad race, but others made it!. 5 had worked back by the mid of October. So dammed if you do, and dammed if you don't. So as we don't have the faintest how they home, can't see Land Marks, etc. etc. if they can't do 97 miles first race, admitted a mite behind, then you have lost nowt really. They just weren't happy and buggered off. Good luck and send them... well I would.

over £3000.... Alan says £5000. Straight off funny enough he said should have torched lol lol. But it has done 450,000. Now had all the engine rebuilt blah blah, and think as of now all is under guarantee.... but they will / would still have to be fought for I'e no doubt, had a reason every time so far why it's not their fault. >

Well once again it was brought back on the back of the AA loader :-/ Said it was a thormostac problem and something else. Well was all well and good and picked up Sat morning. Alan thought he'd do as they said and take it for a decent run. So misses in the van they set of for Yarmouth Dinner time. You guessed it, never made it... Nearly granted. Long story short was followed most of the way back where tjhey stopped and started via the AA. Got close to home, 20 miles and the Recovery Van did the rest... So is back up at the Garage today ... a few quiddies later, and still peeved off.

Bobby Robson, now there is a great that was treated harshly for his sucess. The reality was that Europe via finishing outside of the so - called top four - was as good as Newcastle could ever really hope to achieve. This he got for them ... Thanks, yep the sack. Not even a seat upstairs so to speak. Like the dirty dealing thay did when promising Keegan seast for the loyal fans, he spouts to get that aboard when the owners knew quite well that section was gong to be for the 'Corporative' element. Just one knife they stuck into him. OK he bottled it. like he has everywhere else, but to get him on side to spout untruths.... no wonder he was peeved, and quite right bringing it out. As for any club, the owner has little time and knowledge to operate a club. Hence he employs others to do that for him. Only crime ashley did in that regard was surround himself with imcompetences. And drinking lager on the terraces which made him a 'Clown' figure and worked opposite from what he hoped for and lost him respectability. JMO

I still think Under Mike Ashley the best they can hope for is somewhere above the relegation zone as the guy is a numpty. Well can't be a Numpty A. he is a self made Billionaire, and B he can spell .... just lol. He put his money up where his mouth was, and wore his heart on his sleeve, 100% Newcastle. Just couldn't get the managerment right. Deserter and bottleless, and Big Sam did a Cloughie and rubbed the players up the wrong way, as Cloughie did at Leeds. Think he should sale now if he's sharpe and lets his head rule his heart, but think he maybe too much a fan for that!
-
Will be able to get a better price when sold now eh!

Well said Rose, 100%. But sadly some deliberately overlook realism and truth when it suits! And vander mungo, no one wants to stop progress, or of ones getting ahead! Get Real. 2/3rds of the fancier just want them to be satisfied with the extra bonus that they have, for them to be HAPPY with the bonuses and quicke timings, and a great help in not getting birs 'Trap Shy' etc. AND that they can, and are able to move ahead. To improve etc. etc. They just don't see why their birds have to enter, and / or contain / refrain a bird whilst others who already have the upperhand, and ALSO the privalegde of not having to go into their' loft even when they are there, when they have to! Simple eh! So now how is that stopping progress :-/

Last week I did a silly thing, easy to do. At moment I have to operate 3 - 4 different 'Birds Out' exercising for various reasons. Have to trap in and sort out their compartments etc. I put the wrong cock bird into the wrong. Was three days latter when I realise that the hen wasn't sitting and eggs were stone cold. Thought ****8 etc. and was going to put them in the bucket I use to scrape out. Was off my favourite hen of 'Hopes' A grizzle which I'm destined it seems to have no luck with. had tried her with 3 other cock birds to no avail. Took to this one straight off so left tyhem together. Then I got the cock bird back and he made a bee line and sat on the eggs.... Thought that soon abandon them in few days when they were suppose to have hatched. Two youngsters hatched today!!! Would one believe it. Had seven hatch today. earliest ever for me, usually just putting them together. Dad put his together in early March.

pigeon princess agree you didn't make a mistake that cuased it. It is 'Sod' law, just one of those thing that happen regardless how hard and careful one is. But it makes us feel guilty, as if not caring enough.... the 'If only' syndrome. We all have these trites to contend with from time to time I can assure you. We feel sad and grin and bear it, and strive forward again, like in all walks of life. Good like to you in the future.

dwh my last remark means exactly that! When you say '.......... YOU BY YOUR LAST REMARKS ARE INFERING THAT MYSELF AND OTHERS WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GAIN AN ADVANTAGE AND I FIND THAT INSULTING FOR MYSELF AND THE ETC YOU ARE REFERRING TO END OF ' etc. Tough. Still haven’t given a reason of substance as to why you should keep your ill gotten and unfair extra advantage! Simple really, the ET is a boon and could / should be very good for the sport, very good indeed. I wish the RPRA and other governing bodies had cooperated and got everyone via lottery fund to have one. Indeed then if one still stubbornly refused to use it, well then tough. Every one knows exactly the benefits of the ET Timer! None more so than the manual clocker – No! For many reasons not every one can have one for many reasons as you should very well know. So when the RPRA simply rule that 'You have enough advantages now, without adding insult to the manual clocker’s there can only be one conclusion for the vast majority. They don't want to give up 5 - 6 seconds advantage and want the whole cake and to eat it. Just a little thought for you all. As the RPRA had and took umpteen time, years in fact, consulting other countries, even having independent surveys done etc. They knew, must have done, that the main and biggest obstacle when implemented would be, like the other countries have made the ruling, Birds ET Time must be inside the upright with no possible chance of a leg or whatever timing that bird in with out it being contained. Simple. So just why did they try and pull a fast stroke? Possibly in their infinite wisdom, they thought as soon as the manual clockers’ see the advantages, plus no need for the bird to even go into the loft to be time in, more would flock to having one! It had the - expected I'd say - results. 2/3s of the manual clockers thought that this was adding insult to injury. So they have had to back track before being made to by the ballot. Yes the rule changing that has had to take place. So now you know and cry all you like. Time it is to be at least a little charitable when fleecing someone... I know, leave some skin to grow back ... so you can go and fleece them again later. Lol

Have always done that TT in my trapping. So I believe that is more than suffice when I do actually use mine this coming season. n other coutries, like Canada and the USA etc. etc. it is already, and has been the ruling that to be ET timed, the timer has to be inside the upright where the bird has to be in the loft - avery or whatever to be timed in.... yes and most likely confined. Can't for the live of me see where any ET timing device would be a few feet inside a loft where the bird could at any time turn around and fly, or walk out! Just where are these dreamers getting it from. Personally if DWH etc. or anyone wants to place the pad on the lawn, or on a chimney top for all I care let them do it. Somehow can't see them doing hat, especially as they think a manual clocker would and they want to do the same lol :P ;D ;D ;D ;D

Last say on this, as it is just a case of some wanting to put over a case of not being able to place a pad under a landing board to time in. Hence gaining even more advantage. dwh regardless how you take a rubber of and place in a thimble, whether with sledge hammer /pliers/ tweezers or fingers , at that tine it has to be confined. Simple. Now if a Manul clockers birds - more likely as it knows what is coming, I.e the rubber coming of, gets out Tough, it won't be timed. - A et Timer has already timed it. If a pigeon enters an open door to be timed, but turns around and flies out before, it isn't timed in, because the manual - and if a ET clocker caught them first to place on pad, then it wouldn't be timed in... A. here no ET timer hardly ever would do that, ut for your benefit dwh let's say some did... Then the bird wouldn't have been contained / confine to be able to clock it in, so there is no logic there. Now if a pigeon lans on the floor out side of the open door, then the Pigeon would have to be handled / confined and rubber took off. Even so, the ET timer would be quicker in placing on board than taking rubber of, into thimble clock etc. Unless they both had their clocks next door r somewhere and the Mnual clockers' was near So even in any scenairo a ET timer is a lot quicker. So where is the problem? there isn't one ... Except you obviously want to steal - like many more - and have the pad under the landing board. Like I say, just come up with a sensible, ration realistic argument and we will listen. But as you can't, and then isn't one, please stopping speaking what you falsely accuse others of... talking a load of B***LOCKS AND CODSWALLOP End OF.
-
Whe n you take a rubber of IT IS confines or haven't you noticed :-/
-
Rose I am very suprise to say the least that you, of all people resort to that. They would still need to handle the bird, and if in that scenario it happens, once in a very long odds, but know of one that did, he / she or they would have to handle the bird to take the rubbet off. When in ones hand the bird is confined. Besides nothing stops a ET from having a open door as the RPRA state. And of course that would still be a darn site quicker to place a leg on a pad than take of the rubber etc. If you wish to get the RPRA to open up a fairer and more even playing field, how about getting the Radiouses, and sections to become a reality rather than to pamper those able to afford and pick a location, orbe in a prime location. Nothing wrong with them being in them sites, of course not... but at least have a Corridor that is relevant!

Well said Hotrod. That trival, and silly ole lame potatoe is well baked, and only those unable to say why they want even more advantage, and admit to it spout that cr$p. So soap, wash yer hair and fit the cap on it.
