Hi mucker, I must say it is nice, refreshing, to see someone unselfishly helping someone in need when they're down. Well done.

I feel, personally, at this time of the season and cost wise - especially in the light the Tories got in lol - that kits of 6 youngsters for £50 and £250 for the clocking system may well move things along nicely, whilst A. giving every one a bargain, and B. Jim getting some return back, the price he is willing to accept of £500. Yes for any new starter it is a 'Buy' and half. but not many of them about at present. Mostly youngsters and no money, and / or like most would advise they will get club members etc. to donate youngster whilst they learn the rudiments. JMO.

Yep ditto. Otherwise I think like sapper posted would be a way forward.

Rijkaard as Liverpool manager. Was the one that is great manager, and more than held his own against Fergie and Mourinho both when it came to mind games. Indeed Fergie was a very poor and Mourinho too was second .... ending up outside the stadium eh! Rijkaard has a great record, and if liverpool can pay the fee of compensation to get him, then he has to be not only a great choice, but first choice. Gus Haddink is a good and expierenced manager of course. But I think personally Rijkaard has the beating of him. What if in these crazy days of inflated money he costs £3million compensation, a lot better proposition than ome of the Player Fodder that's been bought surely. His first task of course would be to off load unwanted and not needed player liabilities. Yep would be a great scalp to have.... here's hoping.

Well said. I know you mean it and it is all so very true.... Mind will be good catching up from time to time eh!

Seems, from a few I've heard from, and some of the posts here, that in this regards, returns were poor - generally - to say the least. Indeed many making it, made it in a lot slower times than was expected.

Spin the deficit was run up to keep the Banks and hence the country running. Concerns, especially the smaller ones rely on bridging or offsetting loans, as they are a means to an end. - Incidentally Banks greed etc. was another legacy down to Thatcher as she removed the 'Watch Dog' party(s) that could veto bad, excessive, or in affect any risk taking etc. etc. thus allowing for her cronies to make their’ fortunes even bigger - and still are! - Even the Tories agreed and voted as the Labour Party acted. Likewise the most of the world DID follow Browns lead and did the same.... As things are picking up and the economy is in fact growing, the socialist idea of starting to pay back in 2 years or more time makes sense. When the country can afford it better. Like most credit today it seems. - Outside of a mortgage I personally never have, nor hopefully ever will want / ask for credit. This is only the thin edge of the wedge though. The NHS will once again be desecrated and many more will be suffering sooner than later. Make no mistake about that. Yes the idea that everyone can, and should be able to afford insurances, and means of having private pensions is just dream fodder taken up via psoudo would be Tories. Remember when Doctors / Nurses / Dentists training was demolished via Thatcher. How she tried to enforce every one to take out health insurance and Dentist nigh all went private only. How if you didn't have two check ups a year you were struck off the register! How tens of thousands travelled 100's of mile to no avail! Just could see a Dentist even in emergencies! Labour address and have just right this terrible cancer inflicted on te working class grass roots. Etc. etc.

Bragging rights. Terry the 'Hat' only ever one one race, in his life time. In 1992 he timed in the only bird in race time from Thurso. Yes he sent evey week. yes he won the 'Scottish Averages', the 'Old Bird averages' The combine averages etc. etc. Couldn't fly a kite as such, butI suppose others thought 'Crikey if he ....' Mind I believe the biggest downer as far as I'm concerned it may well cost dear in good birds being sent the extra mile...

John, as so often, I have to agree with you once again.

Whether he does or not is irrelevant... they won't be affected, will make money and as always the 'Have Nots' will pay more for it to be so. This budget forcast says !.5 £Billion will be clawed back from the 'Haves'! Yes in the first year the 'HAVE Nots' will have to claw back £14billion! Yep it is aceratinly a Budget to be fair to all' All the haves as per normal. Was speeching to son - in - law. A rank tory, who said Was worried about his job in the buildings 2 year back or so. So went for year touring the world. Fine. Now says, Hate to admit it, but the building work is picking up immensely of late, indeed over the past 6 months or so ... Mean Tories will take the credit... and the money out of our pockets to subsidise those that have plenty. Yep will be agian as Churchill said 'Nevr have so many given so much to so few'!

Think it sums it up when the Libs had posters stating that the Tories would raise VAT to 20%. Then that they would oppose it full on etc. The Tories replying that it was a myth, nothing could be further from the truth, and rubbished it. Seems now the Tories are saying it was the first thing that they had to agree to to get the Libs on board etc. etc. Always has been a Tory thing of high unemployment and low wages... How can losing jobs be good It means like Thatcherdid, and Chameleon promised to follow in her foot steps that Fewer are paying into the coffers and more going out. And there isn't any family silver ware left to sale.... Thatcher saw to that! Like Harmer said, Justified get their jobs at the expence of 10's of thousands.

Think that that is Geralds' big lacking. Won't stand up to be counted.... Ok fine of the pitch, but on it, if captain one has not only to lead by example, but open their gob. Callagher would be a better proposition in fact... maybe if we get through tomora...

Is sportsmanship dead in football? I guess it is. TOO much money means the honour for playing for their country is a poor second, and egos too inflated to mould as a team. I mean when the likes of a despicable fellow writes in his book that he went out to maim the fellow who's career he had just ended, what hope have we. The same fellow that ruined and refused to play for his country till the manager was sack! Take Cappello. Love him or hate him, loath or rate him, it is irrelevant. I'd love for him to have the BACKING of his governing board to speak a few home truths. To publicly say 'Those too big for their boots won't be picked. those that can't and won't abide and give 100% and those that sulk like little boys, and whinge etc. won't be picked. Ok so Rooney and terry etc. would be picked.... wouldn't be missed either. Give me a squad that is prepared to work their socks off. A squad that work for and abide each other, a squad willing to walk a few days early to be there, to say Stuff the money, I'll wear my heart on my sleeve and give it every thing I've got. A side that goes down fight and with sweat, blood and tears can honestly say 'Sorry, but I gave it my all' any day. Ok we won't win a lot, but we wouldn't be under achievers, would be laughing stocks. Indeed we be proud of them, win lose or draw. Then a new spirit would take precedent and other so called gifted and greats would want to lay for their country. With pride and passion. Ambassadors to their’ country. Tell you what, and serious here, if the ENGLISH lands had half the gumption, the dour hard working of the Scottish teams up to say mid 90's then we would have won the cup more than once. Tis time for the players - Like Renaldo told Fergie, Sorry, no excuses I'm off to play for my country, like a few others have. Can't recall, probably because it has never happened when a Englishman has done that! Yes I am ashamed of some of the English players.... Moreso that they are allowed to get away with it!

No rating for voting for those of us that go both North and South, Nor what one thinks is the stiffer challenge... I find North a lot harder and more challenging personally.

http://www.ehow.com/how_5854454_connect-electric-fence-charger.html http://www.ehow.com/how_5008062_make-electric-fence-car-battery.html Instead of a Car Battery, if able to have a mains connection, just buy a £10 battery charger and use instead of a battery. Farmers are doing thus all the time now. I have unfortunately deleted a few of my favourites of which was superb and very easy to follow. But is simple. Remember Rubber or plastic for isolation of course. the Black lead needs connecting to a pole - preferablly copper, but any metal will do, as long as a good connection is made. Mine is 3 foot into the ground. The red lead is place firmly with a good connection to the wire. Most wires will do. Any that carry a curency. When any thing then touches the live wire it becomes earthed and joins the curreny up to give a jolt. Now I have a £74 one that costs extra with the hooks etc. etc. But of course this isn't quite as good - though certainly more than adequate - because the electricity goes round loop wise... every 2 seconds or so. So the car battery charger is better I believe because it is constant. I've run mine with two wires. Around the area at 4 inches high and the return trip is about 8 inches high. But you can run 4 threads at 4 inches if you so choose. But it is a single line that starts and finishes as such, and not joined up. It works like that in fields so have no reason to join in a circle so to speak. Might improve it, but would have to look at them sites I posted and read up lol. But every creature at least touches it for 2 second or less, so it works fine. Good luck to all.
